National Take Back Initiative takes in 226 pounds of prescription drugs in Jackson County

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office and police departments in Scottsboro, Section, Stevenson and Bridgeport collected 226.8 pounds of expired or unused prescription pills Saturday during the Drug Enforcement Administration-sponsored National Take Back Initiative in Jackson County.

Is that all they got? Wow. That was just the honest folks giving back what they don't use. Think How much is out there that was not turned over. 226.8 lbs is only a drop in a huge vat of drugs.
