Not all tow truck companies are regulated in Hillsborough County, so when Walter Evangelist's car was towed, he felt he had nowhere to turn.

Lets say you own your car outright. A repo company shows up and starts loading your car on a tow truck, stating that you are behind on your payments. You have the title, and show it to the repo man, but he says that he has his orders to take your car, and that is what he is going to do. What is your recourse, other than hiring an attorney after the fact, filing papers, going weeks without your car, etc? Does "Stand Your Ground' apply if the repo man is in effect STEALING the car that you own outright, and refuses your demand to get his hands off of YOUR property?
