Convicted sex offender sent back to prison

A man was sentenced to two years in prison for failing to adequately register as a sex offender in Findlay.

How so? If he was convicted in 2001 and spent 2 years in prison then classified a sexually oriented offender,upon release, the new Adam Walsh Act had no jurisdiction over him.
"Bottom line is defendant was told back in 2001 he had an obligation to register" ... but doesn't the registration period start after he was released from prison?
Does the public defender know anything about defending people in situations such as this?
Does the judge just say whats on his mind at the time? or does he know what the laws are?
Will I get a response from either one of these people?
I'll be waiting ...
Looks like this might be going to the Ohio Supreme Court, more money well spent on a law that is full of holes and mistakes.The people of Ohio are so willing to adopt these new laws and waste so much money on them.
How dare you say that putting this person in jail is a waste of your money...
