I agree with concerned citizen. I think someone should check into who else was paid over $350,000 in one year. Lets check into Carrigee's books and see if Eddie is on his payroll.

Yes, those of us fed up with Carrigee's regime over citizens of this town are rejoicing. The problems with him began long before Katrina and were of his own making. Eddie, I've voted for you in every election, but you gotta let this guy go. With all the seminars, workshops, and courses the town has invested in to make hime the "most certified man in Mississippi", wheres the return? His pockets are full, selling the qualifications that the taxpayers paid for.

Corruption is rampant in the Bay. Eddie needs to answer for his actions. I cant help but wonder what he has done that we dont know yet....Time Will Tell!

Can you believe that just 2 weeks ago when the men who are preparing a temporary beach road, not city workers, but people builing a road capped off the sewerage pipes running into the Bay. This means for the past year, raw sewerage has be dumping right into our bay. Another example of Eddie Favre's actions. He could have easily had that taken care of.

It is sickening to see how the city administration is running this once great town into a shithole.

What is really sickening is to see how about 75 to 80% of all the money being spent on the coast doesnt make it to the people.

The Grant program has cut checks to only 1% of applicants to date, and of the 8 million paid to 175 grant applicants the total expense was 33 million. That means 3/4 of the money has gone to overhead so far. and 99% of the money is still in the state coffers. This is over a year after the storm.

How about the Army Corp prime contractors getting thirty something a yard to clean up debris, but the little sub contractor with a truck might be getting only 8$ per yard to do the work.

How about trying to come up with an emergency plan to rebuild (regarding zoning) after the emergency instead of before it, and fighting over new zoning such as to delay rebuilding in Pass Christian for a year.

How about a full time Bay St Louis building inspector who just got an unauthorized 11000$ raise and within the last year found time to bill Hancock County for allmost $400,000 of contract work on the side.

The whole thing is sickening.

Our Mayor is not leading us anywhere. He is not able to fulfill his sworn duties. As many agree, he will be voted out soon.

So where does that leave all of us here, living, in Bay St. Louis ? Do you own property in Old Town or Cedar Point? Perhaps a great spot on the Jourdan River? Oh! You do? And you have to live elsewhere in the meantime? I understand. We are all in this together.

To The Honorable Mayor Eddie:

1. What is your comprehensive plan for recovery with respect to Bay St. Louis businesses?

2. Please publicly announce the plans in the works.

3. Hold a State of the City Address to announce your plans.

Please do this for us, the citizens of Bay St. Louis. Show us that you care enough to lead us.

He'll have to sober up and find someone to write it up for him, phonetically of course, so that he can put his X on it and have it sent to the papers.
Dave Stepro is no longer here to to prop his sorry ass up and clean up all the "messes" he leaves behind!

OK guys, this is our chance to unite. A web site is being set up. Let us all meet there. We know that City Hall is NOT the place. See the previous posts and follow "Confused". I will keep this on the Forum to the best of my ability. And if you have not noticed, I am a Night Owl.
