Leader weighs in on officer's charges

The stupid shouldn't of been running from the police to start. The NAACP needs to stop trying to make a black/white issue out of everything.

If the situation and races were reversed, would anybody really care about this? There is just as much reverse discrimination out there. I don’t know how many times I have heard blacks accusing a white person of being racist. Is the black man saying that just because the other person is white? Isn't that racism? Skin color isn't that big of an issue as the NAACP thinks it is. They are simply using the drawn out race card way too much. It's getting old real fast. Could white people have a WET (white entertainment television) or how about all white colleges, all white scholarships, all white sports teams etc. Why is it ok for one but not the other?

You're right this shouldn't be a black white issue but it should be an issue. The trooper could have have killed him. If a civilian hits someone on purpose with a car, it is deadly force. Officers can't use deadly force unless they situation is right. This was not the right situation of it. Just a dumb cop who thinks he is God.

Please tell me that the VICTIMS are tax-paying citizens and that they are in jail for resisting arrest. I feel that everyone should stop for a blue light or be shot DEAD--I do not want to pay attorneys/court costs for these VICTIMS to run from the law. If you are doing nothing wrong, it will be very apparant to the officer and everyong else. Why should law enforcers have to risk danger because the VICTIM is a deadbeat and wants to force the officer to CHASE him? If a person is placed in danger, he should have the right to kill the cause of danger and prevent tax-payers from haveing to pay for the cause of danger over and over again. Let's get real, everyone wanting to commit crimes, please leave AMERICA so the people who deserve freedom can have freedom.

He could have "stopped" his fleeing suspect with a bullet.

And of course, this totaly unbiased reporting of the Sun News and the Associated Press fails to tell us what the fleeing suspect was suspected of. But deadly force rules generally apply when attempting to stop a fleeing felony suspect.

Amen. I agree totally and have said the same thing for years. Why can't we have a NAAWP? We could have Micheal Richards from Seinfeld lead it.
