Purifoy found not guilty

As the cousin of Shawn Henderson, on behalf of the family, we ALL believe in the guilt of Jason Purifoy and leave justice to be served by GOD since it was not in the court room.

So why wasn't he convicted?

What about the others involved? Have you not thought that maybe there was more than one person? From everything I have read it seems there was more to the story. I am sorry for the loss of your cousin, but without evidence how can you convict?

For all the people that knew and loved shawn they know that jason will one day pay for what he did, just because he's not in prison doesn't mean that someday he won't get whats deserved. To the people that believe hes innocent, think again. I loved shawn and if i could have been here when he died i would have helped get evidence to convict that bastard. everyone that knew him knows he did it and he lives longer that he deserves to he will live with what he did to shawn. to shawns mother you deserve justice and i hope one day you will get it somehow.

I believe that Jason was guilty as well. After reading the facts of the case, especially about Jason giving a gun to one of his friends, I truly believed he would be found guilty. I was sad to think that he did something like that, but I know what a terrible effect drugs have on people. I was extremely shocked when I read that he was found not guilty. I was just reading through old newspapers today that my mom saves for me, and I can't imagine what Shawn's mother is going through right now. I read the whole article that she wrote about Shawn as he was growing up, and I am so emotionally touched and heartbroken for his mom,sister, stepdad, and ENTIRE family. So many times when a family loses someone, especially at such a young age with no reasonable explanation, there are no words to reach out with. All I can say is May God Bless Shawn's whole family and hold them carefully in his palm until each one of them finds a way to deal with his death and the verdict of the court.
