That would be me and until I see some response from the people runnin for sheriff I'm going to continue my God given right to express my views on the topic.

By the way you might want to consider changing the name you use on your posts.

I keep getting left out of these polls. Startin to hirt my feelings. LOL

As long as you like it that's all that matters. As for bitchin, I could use some help, none of the canidates for Sheriff except Brian and Scott seem to have anything to say. If you know some of the canidates you might try getting them to either express their views on the forum or help me set up some kind of a public meeting for them to answer questions.

A public debate would be awesome. But my opinion of of Scott and Brian isn't good. What I have heard is that thye have been fired from every department they have worked for. Fulton County needs a knew admin. Bost has my vote

I'm not sure about the firings. I've spoken to a couple of people in law enforcement that have a pretty high opinion of Brian's abilities as an investigator. I think the only way to make an informed decision is a public forum of some type.

Denny is kind of an unknown, other than his service in Iraq I don't know anything about him and he hasn't responded to any of the posts directly regarding his position on the issues.

How do you think we need to go about setting up a forum? Do you know how to contact any of the canidates?

Have now idea how to get ahold of anybody. Most people dont know about this website.

I talked with Brian at length last week. I think he is in favor of some kind of a public meeting, maybe he'll help us put something togather.

I am somewhat upset that someone has stated above that I was fired from every job I have had. I respond to that by saying that I have never been fired from any job since I started working at 14 years of age. At Independence County Sheriff's Department I worked under 3 sheriff's Ron Webb, Dan Johnson, and Keith Bowers. At the DTF I worked under Danny Ramsey and Scott Russell. Contact one of those guys and ask about me. I think it is time we got what we paid for. Do you want someone as your sheriff who just wants to sit in an office and draw a check, someone who has a personal agenda, or someone who just wants to work hard to better his community so his son and all our children have a better place to grow up. I challenge anyone to question my record. While I was assigned Fulton County as one of my primary counties in 2005 there where over 100 felony arrests made in Fulton County after leaving the DTF that number dropped to 67. I think that says alot.

And by the way I would love to be involved in a public forum or debate. If the public is interested I hope it can happen. I want to make myself available to anyone who would like to hear what I have to say. This site won't allow you to post phone numbers but I will try to trick it here if I can. 371 then fill in this space with letters 0357.

I look forward to hearing from anyone who is serious about having a better sheriff's department.

I agree Brian they need a new Sheriff but you know how rumors are around this town. We need a Sheriff that don't believe in the 'good ole boy system'.

I also want to let everyone know that Mike Davis has a copy of my personal file from all previous law enforcement employment I plan to get a copy of it and make it public if anyone would like to review it.

That's quite a gesture, I'd say Brian has nothing to hide. I think all the canidates should follow suit. There are so many rumors floating around about the canidates that this would be a good way to clear the air.

I would also like to say that I am upset about the attach on myself and Brian, I have never been fired from a law enforcemnt position in my life I have given 100% to my Family friends and community.....
I ask you do you want expierence dedication and commitment? Or is it that the people want to still be protected by the same good ole boy politics in the Sheriffs office as we have so well maintained for the last 30 plus years...
I have raised here and my family goes back since the 1830's and I feel that the people who are not my relatives are my extended family and I want the best for my children and family as well as yours.
I am going to try the same as Brian 371 blablabla 1328.....And atlongjr I have tried contacting you several time and all it does is ring plz contact me ....

The good old boy politics, I am probably confused, is this where a person can do what they want to do, just because there in the law enforcement, or is it people getting special favors like being able to break the law, and no one cares?
