Why would a man with a wife and 3 kids be outside his car under any circumstance?

Yeah Buddy I am a Graham and I live in Illinois . Have not been in AL for a long time but you cannot judge all of us or anyone for that matter unless you are GOD. You can judge but remember you WILL be judged yourself. We are not perfect people here on this earth but most of us try our hardest. Mistakes might have been made but GOD will judge us. I love my cousin Hershel and my GRAHAM family. I am sorry for all who have lost in this terrible tragedy. I pray for all.

TO the comment made by "BHEBJJ" David was alone on his way home to go to bed for work that nite when a DOG..ran out in front of his car, that is why he stopped.. Myself and his children were at the hospital NOT that it is anyone's business. THOSE LEFT BEHIND AFTER THE LOSS OF A LOVED ONE ARE THE VICTIMS HERE AND WE ARE HURTING!!! Please stop all of this and give us our due privacy and respect.. We are David's family and WE LOVE HIM DEARLY AND MISS HIM..We have to wait until HEAVEN to see him again.. So many wanna defend Graham and go ahead if that is what you wanna do but many on here are David's family and WE WILL DEFEND HIM...He is no longer alive to do so. David was an out of this world wonderful man who had such a passion for his family and life. He will NEVER BE GONE!

May David be remembered for all the good he did while on this earth. May he be remembered as a loving father, son, brother, husband, and friend. May he be remembered for all his talents as a chef, artist, carpenter, and all around good person. I am thankful to have known this wonderful person. May he rest in peace and be remembered for the wonderful man that he truly was.

Actually, I lived in the same neighborhood as Mr. Graham, and I never feared him. I never knew him to be violent, psychotic, or any of the things many of you are saying about him. None of us know exactly what happened in this situation, none of us can judge. I believe that most of you accusers subscribe to a religion where the only one who can judge is Him, yes? Perhaps you should stick to that.

I am not trying to start anything as people are going to have their opinions right or wrong but it is a known fact that Andrasik was not armed and the police were never called until it was too late and the newspapers have totally spun it wrong as if Andrasik just stopped and started something. He didn't..a dog ran out in front of his car which is common in that area. I was told by many about how they themselves had to lock brakes up for dogs there. There is also a leash law that obviously isn't upheld. It is never justified to shoot someone unarmed and especially shoot them in an area on their body leaving them little chance of survival. I know Mr. Andrasik personally and he was a wonderful husband and father and had just had a newborn baby just days old...he was also in college and very well liked and would do anything for anybody..he had a heart of gold. This was senseless & never should have ended this way. If you have trouble call the police don't put a bullet in someone and end their life.

those who choose to defend Graham would be singing a different tune if it were their family unarmed that he shot and killed. I read so many comments about people not being there and not knowing what really happened and not to judge Graham..well, he made sure David couldn't speak his side of it didn't he??? That is one voice EVERYONE NEEDS TO HEAR...

The trial is scheduled to start on 2/4. Graham has had it postponed before, so who knows for sure.

As for judging? Those who say not to judge another's actions aren't exactly Bible scholars are they?

We hope the Alabama justice system will work as it should. Hershel Graham should be looking at 30 yrs or so.

Hattie from Hodges... Thank you for your comment but I am not sure who your source is but there is no trial in February. I am a member of David's family so I know that for a fact. It must be a misprint or false statement given out by someone..

We are very hopeful of a conviction however nothing the legal system can do will ease our pain and suffering. We are especially broken for David's wife and children.. just heart breaking.. He is so deeply missed and she cries every day... as do all his family, friends...

God bless you for your support of David.. many many are backing David as they should.

This was very unjust and cruel evil what was done to him.

It's sad that this guy David got himself killed.. The fact that the incident started ON the street, then David follows the boy ONTO this guy's property, all the way to the back of his house even, David was persuing trouble. Period. It wasn't Hershel's responsibility to know David had a newborn baby at home, DAVID should have considered that, and been responsible, staying in his vehicle and OFF another man's property. Instead David acted stupid and put himself at risk, and paid the price. David's wife's comment said "What Hershel SHOULD have done". When you are in the heat of the moment, scared and your adrenaline is pumping, you don't 'think', you 'react'.. It's Fight or Flight reaction.. Hershel did exactly what the situation seemed to call for in the moment to keep himself and his minor son safe.. This is a tragic incident of stupidity, and blaming one for another man's sudden development of a Hot Temper making him go after another man's underage boy, onto the boy's father's own property would, 9 out of 10 times, end this way..

Herschel Graham should be tied up and beat to death david may have had his problem as we ALL do but for Herschel to take the law into his own hands should have never happened at all i have never once heard anything nice about Herschel the only things i have ever heard is how mean he is as well as how big of an SOB he is Maybe Herschel will get whats coming to him in prison thats something i would like to see Red Bay police department is a JOKE they always have been They all seem to be scared of their own jobs I mean does it really take two of them to pull one person over just for speeding "they can easily be BOUGHT off. The only thing they are good for is riding the roads on tax payers money. they have a bunch of kids straight out of high school. only thing i have seen that they can do well is have the big head about themselves. Red Bay needs to have police that really want to do their jobs the best they can. If they had police that really knew how to do their jobs. Herschel Graham would be in the place that he belongs for the rest of his nasty life.

So thankful for a manslaughter conviction.. so thankful for EW'S who were NOT related to Graham weren't afraid to tell the truth.. if you are just walking toward someone, never laying a hand on anyone and you get 3 ft from them and they outta nowhere jerk a gun out and fire it into your chest.. THAT IS COLD BLOODED MURDER.. David Andrasik was LEAVING..EW for the prosecution all gave same statement.. WHY would Elijah Graham call David back into the yard to fight if he was so afraid of David? Why not let him go ahead & leave if he was halfway in the car? I thought it sounded very fishy how Hershel Graham just up and disappeared from view during the SAME TIME Elijah Graham ripped his own shirt off like some lunatic himself looking to fight.. Sounds to me that this was all a set up to get David back into that yard, take advantage of his impairment & just kill him. This shooting was in no way justified. Elijah Graham struck David with his truck when all David did from evidence heard during trial was walk up to the truck to talk to them.. That was another scenario where Graham's EW gave polar opposite stories compared to the prosecution EW'S NOT related to Graham. Andrasik was laying on the ground screaming for help I am guessing from being hit by the truck & then the school teacher pulled up to see Andrasik & hear him screaming for help... Andrasik was the ONLY one screaming for help and who wouldn't be angry if they got struck by a vehicle for no reason. The Self's admitted they let David in their home, he didn't threaten them in any way & they admitted they were NOT afraid of Andrasik & that if they had it to do over & knew Graham was gonna do that they would have kept David there with them & called for help.. This is clearly murder.. You cannot just shoot someone for being drunk & verbally fussing. That is what the police are for..Graham had time while he disappeared to do the right thing & call police but instead he became the aggressor by bringing a gun into the situation when Andrasik was neither armed nor touching anyone. I hope Graham gets the full 20 years for this. It is far more mercy than he showed David.. it broke me to pieces when I heard that Graham's family had told in court how they heard David gurgling on ground, grabbing at his wound & trying to breath and they just stood there watching him suffer? They are evil for being so heartless & cruel. Rest in peace David.. the truth came out..

You obviously didn't attend trial or read the actual court reports.. Graham lied like a dog, EW's not related to Graham with NOTHING to gain by lying all busted his lies & his punk son's lies 100%. You don't just shoot someone because they are drunk in your yard & Graham's son started the whole crap by running over the guy. He should be in jail for that. This mess would never have gotten that far had he not hit the man with his truck for no reason. Plus the NOT SO INNOCENT Son is up on indictment charges for drugs. They are far from innocent in this. He is a murderer & soon will be behind bars where he belongs & hopefully his punk son will be there soon.

It was also proven that the man MURDERED never once touched anyone. That was another lie Graham and his lying dream team tried to make a jury believe until ALL of the eye witnesses not related to him ALL gave testimony that he was lying that The guy never once laid a hand on them and was IN FACT screaming for help when the son hit him with a truck and the guy had gotten back halfway into his car LEAVING when the son ripped his own shirt off cursing at the guy demanding he get back in the yard to settle it, the guy walked back and the shooter had disappeared around his house out of view then comes right back starts walking towards this guy gets about 3 foot from him and just shoots him. That is MURDER! The guy was leaving so why would his idiot son keep it going? He set him up to get him shot because he knew daddy had a gun and daddy is always bailing his law breaking rear out of mess but not this time.. They are both gonna be living in prison soon..
