dr. doug smith.....appointments

can someone please tell me if its true or not that dr.doug smith lets his patients wait for hours upon hours in his office while he's out on his farm working...while having coffee at the morning diner we were told of episode after episode that this goes on regularly in his office by our waitress,if so why hasn't anyone reported him to the state board?anyone know the #...

I have actually set in his office hours upon hours at a time, and often wondered why hasn't anyone called the state board about this situation, and the only conclusion that I have come up with is No One Cares. So needless to say, he is no longer our doctor.

Unfortunately the stories you list here are true. The reason I believe this occurs is because many of the citizens of this county don't seem to think they deserve to be treated better. The culture of scheduling appointments and then not honoring is a routine practice.
Our family see's a local physician who treats us with courtesy, respects our time by honoring the schedule, Dr. Dilip Joshi.

Dr. Dilip Joshi is one of the best Doctor's in Jamestown. He'll always have my buisness in the sickness family

doug smith is a licensed drug dealer. no more, no less

I have been Dr, Doug Smith's patient since he came to Jamestown. I wouldn't go to anyone else. I have also worked with him in the past. He has forgot more than alot of Doctors will ever know. He has never once ask me if I want any drugs.He may have alot on his schedule with Jamestown, Clarkrange and Wartburg, but he is not on his farm when he has patients sitting in his office. I know some of the boys who work on his farm and they say he hardly ever comes out there. Ask anyone who has ever worked with him what kind of Doctor he is. If you are looking for drugs you can find them about anywhere.

Dr Doug Smith is one of the biggest drug deelers in the county. I worked at a Pharmacy for years and he is a very big problem in this county. I know what I have see from him and don't care what any one else thinks.

He is my doctor and he has never ask me if I wanted drugs.If you work for a Pharmacy your not suppose to be telling stuff like that. Shows how stupid you are.Sounds like someone who likes to run off at the mouth.He is a very good doctor. I work with him for 14 years and he was nothing but a nice guy, that knew his stuff when it come to medicine.

the girls in dr.doug,s office makes all his appointment,s. they won,t make you one for the days he isn,t there, and when you have to wait, dr doug is over at the hospital taking care of someone who is probely a lot sicker than you, know what i mean,????

I like dr.doug yes i been in to see him and it takes for hrs to get in and yes he may gave out to many pills to ppl but who are we to be talking about someone there is to mush talking going on and u do not even know what u are talking about...

As to what kind of person he is ,I don't know,, but I do know that because of long HOURS in his waiting room he is no longer my doctor.

I have been going to Doug for 4 years after I had Neck Surgury and needed pain pills heavy for awhile he was the only doctor that seemed to care about my pain and he worked to change the meds so that adiction would be less likely He slowly reduced the amount and strength until I did not need them any longer, He will still give me some when I need them but a dealer he is not. Just a doctor. If you have ever been hurt than you know how most doctors treat you as if you are a junky and I never felt that way with him. By the way you are the one who takes the pills he is not shoving them down your throat.

BULLSHIT he is the best doctor in Jamestown. All he is good for is prescribing pain pills and antibiotics. It's pretty sad when you have to tell your doctor what kind of tests to send you for to see if you have cancer or not..ITS DAMN SAD when another doctor FINDS cancer in you..SOMETHING that has been there for 10 years, and then have doctor Joshi find out that ANOTHER doctor found it and then see you out and about in town and not even look at you in the eye BECAUSE HE KNOWS HE SUCKS!!!!!!!! You're nothing but a sucker to Doctor Joshi and all he is doing is piling all of your money in his bank account...SUCKER!!!

Ilived in Jmestown.TN.for almost 10 years and I had Dr Johsi for all of those years and he was always a very good doctor as far as i am concerned too,no problems at all fo me and my family with any medical problems at all.B e kind and know what you are saying about any doctor as you might need a good one some day too.

yes he does let people sit for hours i had an appointment for 1pm and didnt getout of there till 8pm and the sad part is he was supose to send me to wound care clinic 30 days later still hadnt heard a thing i called the nurse and they didnt even no anything about this sad.. i almost lost my leg but with the lords help i found a great doctor who healed me
