And here I thought turning on your lights when using windshield wipers was a normal thing so you wouldn't be a threat to yourself or others on the road who might not see you. Oh right, I live in Ohio. Nevermind.

2 tow truck operators killed in 2 years generates this kind of law? Please, this is nothing but a money grab by the General Assembly.

Finally tickets for the IDIOTS that drive in the pouring down rain with no lights on. Ohio was way behind most of the nation on this law.
The speed limit for truckers if you go 70 you get a ticket. No excuses and no exceptions.
Moving over for flashing yellow lights :: It is a shame Ohio had to legislate common sense. But you still see people not move over for police cars or fire trucks along the road and they want to whine if pulled over.
Anyone that opposes the wiper or move over law is somone that should not be driving

Let's see. Wipers on in pouring rain. Common Sense. But in Ohio we see people driving that you can't see because they lack the common sense to turn on lights when they need their wipers.
Moving over for any vehicle alongside the road. Again common sense, Yet you still see idiots whizzing by police and other emergency vehicles without just moving over one lane.
I am amazed at those that whine that laws like this are passed to make money. Officers and safety crews die by the dozens each year all over the country because other drivers lack common sense.
As for Truckers driving 65 if they go 70 then they pay a ticket. They were given the 10 miles they cried for for years so drive withing the 65 as should everyone else. Only bad idiotic drivers that can't obey simple laws complain about them

A bunch of feel good do nothing legislation brought to you by the handing of power to democrats in Columbus. Let's start with the basics - the patrol (rural) and the big cities (urban) have completly failed to enforce existing speed limits on the highways (I-270, 271, 480, 76, etc.) so this won't change much of anything except now when you drive the little soupcans that the Obama administration wants you to drive, you will have to compete with a truck going 75 (instead of 65) barreling down on you - make the limit whatever you want, they will still ride at least 10 over consistently. Here's a suggestion: why not make some laws (or get rid of some useless ones) that actually benefit Joe-average driver on the roads?

What is unfortunate is that some feel the need to legislate common sense. The problem with this approach is that those who already have common sense (and therefore don't need laws like this) will do the right thing (and probably already do) while those who really need this type of law will continue to fail to use common sense (and should not be driving). The more we legislate common sense, the worse off things will be for those who have common sense ... only in America...

TOM you are just an idiot, got it, IDIOT. If you are ever broke down on the side of the road I hope the first vehicle that goes past you blows your hat off. Maybe your worthless scull along with it.
