Honeywell, an Elberton manufacturer of brake pads, informed state officials last week that the company would be shutting down its Elbert County operation in the middle of next year.

I am sorry to hear about the plant closing. I worked there as HR manager for a little over a year and there are a lot of really good people working there. God bless them and their families.
