Dillon County Council ousts county administrator

This ousting comes from one of the Good old boys political commities. The administrator was fired for bucking the system. The second on the motion came from a county councilman who goes shopping at an IGA food store and changes the pricing on meats by pulling the price tags off of lower priced products and placing them on the pricer
product. Belive it or not, this was caught on video security cameras. After talking with a city of Dillon employee I discovered that there is a warrent for the arrest of this councilman on a totaly different matter. For some reason this warrent has been misplaced!!!!! Is this a fluke or crooked politics? Dillon needs to come into a new era do away with the (it's not what you know but who you know) political system on the county and city levels. The watch dog....

You are so right! It is time the people of Dillon County stood up to the "good old boy" system to oust it completely. This incident has brought it all out into the forefront making it known all over the area. Hopefully, all who live in this county will get more involved now to bring about change. It is now or never since this is getting so much media attention. I, too, wonder how someone can commit such crimes and still sit on the council. Sounds just like Washington, DC and our so-called representative there as well doesn't it?

Voting one or two of these guys out won't bring about much change. The entire governing system in dillon county needs to be redone and thats from the Judges to the councilmen. Since the election of Hulon in Dillon we have seen some change in the professionalism of some of the county employees but the county still has a long way to go. Police Officers driving patrol cars to drop their children off to school, Councilmen using their influence to make warrents disappear happens too often in Dillon county. There is a system of unfairness in this small town that stems from the days of physical slavery to the new ways of economical slavery. If we don't pay attention to what these people are doing then we are just as guilty for letting it happen.

Not exactly sure of all of the reasons. I know that one of the reasons was that he was cracking down on county officials using county vehicles for personal use. That didn't take too well with a few of the councilmen. I'm sure that if asked they will say that this isnt the reason but it is one of them. I do work within the county if questioning my realibility for information.

no just didnt know as to why they fired him!!they appeared to be some very upset people!!
