Man the little town of Lamesa let me and my family down. Remember when all of the drug busts were going on, they had a 500,000 dollar bond. Well Micheal bonded out on a 100,000 dollar bond, at least these so called dealers sold to adults, what about the little kid that was abused? The little boy had no chance to defend himself, and they gave Micheal a lesser bond. His Lawyer said that they had to get him out of there, beceause the inmates were threatning his life. O-well he wasn't to bad in there was he. He took out his anger on the little boy, but could not do anything in the county jail! I hope God has no mercy on his soul.

Apperntly you dont know to much about Lamesa, Texas! I was in the county Jail when the were threatnig that lil basterd, the next morning they let him out. The Justice system idsn't worth a fuck here. Did you know that Jermey Luera got a DWI and got 20 years in prison? But Randell Mcknight kills his own cousin and he will walk in 10 years. Look at the so called big drug bust. Guess how much drugs they found? NONE, all they had were a couple of stool pegins saying the bought from a couple of people. If they had rock hard evidence then why is everybody out on probation. I think that your ass is talking because your mouth knows better!

The fact is the child in the this story is my grandson and on Oct 27 2006 he was beaten as close to death as any one could be. He stopped breathing and is suffering from brain damage today from a lack of oxygen to the brain and from multiple beatings prior to Oct 27. There is far more to this story than is being told. The TX CPS is covering up their own neglect in this tragedy. CPS visited the mother and boyfriend 8 days prior to the event at my request and stated these children were in good health and being well taken care of despite despite my grandson having at least one broken arm, bruising, and all evidence shows brain damage manifesting itself with weakness in his left side at the time of the CPS visit. The Lamesa CPS supervisor defended the boyfriend’s family when I first mentioned his name. I was desperately trying to find and legally protect these children. I used the system and the system failed and the “system” is now protecting itself. This could have been stopped and it wasn’t. The system failed!

I use to like lamesa as a small city. I am retired and thought it would be a nice place to go now I have second thoughts...drugs are everywhere and nobody really cares it is the greed in making money that makes it go on and on. hope things work out
