I HATE ignorant people like the the two below!!!! I dont care what you do to support yourself, NO ONE deserves to be KILLED!! But the people that did it do deserve to be locked up for life!!

You know if this were to happen to someone you loved or a family member of yours you would not feel like the two ignorant people at the top of these comments. People struggle in life and I guess you wouldn’t know it because you have had everything handed to you. Who are you to judge other people. Don’t be rude and inconsiderate to people feelings.

I agree with you totally, and I believe most reasonably minded people would agree. However, I think most of those people who seem insensitive are just tired of seeing all this senseless violence, crime and predator behavior in their communities. They are just letting off steam because of their frustration.

As for the mothers out there that say their drug addict child is not doing anything to hurt others, whether drug dealing or stealing, they are hurting others and themselves. If they are not willing to get help and focus on hanging out with right people rather than returning back to their old haunts and habits, then they will just have to deal with the consequences. It is time for tough love, momma.

Ever heard of innocent until proven guilty. This is what has happened to America. The media!!! None of you know either the person killed or the supposive people who did it. You people jump on a campaign to bash all the individuals involved in the news story. If you read the story slowly and correctly you would gather that only one of the people who went to the house actually knew him if he did not open the door for people he did not know. So apparantley he dealt drugs to the individual giving the interview to the paper in the past. It seems that maybe from the story the guy that gave the interview must of been going over there for his own money or drugs. Anyway I believe if you put yourself in a situation with drugs and guns there is always several losers and in this case it was the individual who died, the shooter and then the other poor inmature kids who went along.

Hearing it from Oak Cliff I believe it. I was just out there last week, some improvements like the new homes on Westmoreland but other than that it is the same cess-pool like it always been.
Glad to be back home in the small town in Tennessee.

Tell me about it. I tried to get on a freeway in Dallas running 70 miles/hour and somebody tried to run me off the road, he must have been doing 90.
Right before the freeway there was an old woman trying to clean windows and I kept trying to get around her and she kept insisting on doing my windows and all the vehicles behind me were blaring there horns like trying to encourage me to just run her over.

You need to go to the Dallas/Ft.Worth Metroplex and experience it. Very fast and dangerous area especially compared to my little town. I'm way out in the sticks and may see a freeway just once a year.
But what I seen last week is the violent mentality of the people in the Dallas area.
On tv there was a crazy man running around in Plano and I asked my brother-in-law who lives in Cedar Hill what was going on and he said he must have lost his home do to foreclosure. He said lots of people are losing their homes and going crazy.

It's all about choices. I lived in Oak Cliff myself back in the 80's. He had the choice of getting a real job and staying away from drugs.

I am tired of people getting on here and thinking they know what they are talking about...true dallas is not a good area but there are killers every where. Did you know Daniel's parents were pastors...Did you know Daniel or the choices he made...I really wish the news and the person that wrote this article knew what they were talking about...THEY KNOW NOTHING...just what the police decided to tell you...another way they are controling what you know

Someone needs to get a life. If you car jack someone, rob them at gun or knife point, sell drugs, rob people, kill people or rape people, you deserve to be killed. You know the chance you take. If your not happy with the risk, consider panhandling and leave the crime to others. He is a dirt bag. No loss him being dead. Is there? Just because some of you want to have a bleeding heart doesn't make it ok or right to break the law. You haver no idea what this dude has done in the past. And your attitude would change if he killed someone you knew in one of his crime sprees or while driving drunk.
