Two women found dead in Dallas motel room 9:19 Am CT

Police suspect their deaths may be drug-related,

if in fact this is the case, not a great loss.

Even though Vanity Garcia might have had a drug addiction, think about the four children that lost their mother.

If she was an addict, I doubt she did them much good anyway. They'll be better off without her.

it's really not up to me to think about her children, that would be up to her.
but I'm sure that ship has sailed long ago.

Wow, glad people who have nothing but hatefill comments and rude assumptions took the time to post.

But what is sad(besides angry pathetic people posting) is how tragic addiction can be, and it could be a great loss, because, perhaps if these women would have chosen different vices they could have been successful, or even raised successful children. No one's life is worth more than the next persons, addict or not. And I am certain, good mother or not, that these children and family members will never think they would be "better off" without their loved one. Not to mention, many great people throughout time have suffered from addiction.

And am I the only one who finds it amusing to see others judging those who are down and reassuring themselves that they are better than said addicts? But haters keep pointing your fingers, because one day, you will realize, all you have been doing is hiding your own flaws behind other peoples shortcomings because you are too scared to take a good look at yourself.

Many thanks to you, Whitney311 for your post, I am a friend of the family and the short article written doesn't tell the whole story nor the truth! For others to write what they have just goes to show how shallow and hateful some in society have become! Vanity was 18 with no kids and her sister Teresa was 15 with no kids!

my opinion? I hate violence and addicts of any kind. addiction is a sign of weak morality. now go hug a tree!

I can understand that reading like this - one can just brush it off & say that the where losers and where drug addicts. But I can tell you that Theresa took a path that was unexpected and shocking to me. She and her family where living with my mother at one time in her life and I would have never suspected Theresa's young life ending this way. But a heart felt person with mixed emotion, all I can do is forgive you ("Rocket j Squirrel") and any others that my have very negtive comments and be there for my Aunt. As far as Vanity, I know for a fact that her mother is trying to put the pieces together and making sure that her 4 children are taken care off and will always remember what their mother, loving and caring. These two beautiful souls fell in the devils hands.

Opinion is one thing, hateful comments another. You should really think about the differences between the two.

I grew up with Vanity and to all u people who have something bad to say about these girls, yall need to chill out!!! The news and papers don't tell the whole story. These two girls were actually murdered... They were found beaten and strangled. Now her kids are left without a mother. Especially her girl, a girl will also need her mother.

The article said the girls were found "without signs of trauma" on their bodies. One poster above said she was without kids. Some say she had kids.

I don't think anybody was found in that room and your all imagining things.

Whether Vana was an addict or not the pain is still the same. Everyone who knew her will miss her the same, and cry regardless of her mistakes. We loved her. And, she wasn't an addict she just happened to make a bad decision that cost her her life. So to those who have ugly things to say watch your mouth because you don't know what the future holds for you.Tommorrow is never promised....for any of us. So don't be so bitter, and consider others before you say very hurtful things. Life is too short to be so negative.
