we installed a GPS in one of our work truck earlier this year. The stupid thing is useless. 90% of the time it gives you the wrong directions, or tells you to turn on a road that doesn't exist!

I like how the headline is "GPS Helps Manage Fuel Costs" and in the end the officer is like "we're still trying to figure out how to use these to save fuel..." KOTV jumped the gun a bit it seems like, how about "GPS Might Help Manage Fuel Costs".

Steve, you must be doing something wrong. I have one of the cheapes GPS's on the market and it is a godsend. Not once have I gotten lost in over a year. Technology is only as smart as the operator...

I wouldn't like it because it is like big brother with you all of the time. It tells them how fast, where, and for how long a person is at a given area etc. No Way

You obviously have never been to Craig County LOL I agree with you on all except the accountability part. Deputies in Craig Co are rarely accountable for their actions. Ask the guy whos leg was broken by a deputy.
