Where do I start? I have IndyMac now known as BankOne West. My adjustable does not adjust until Dec 2012. However, I was unable to pay the escrow account which Indy Mac alleged there was a "shortfall" and in order to make up the short amount they doubled my monthly mortgage payment and made the shortfall payable in 12 months. We are talking about $13,000. My mortgage went from $2200 to $4200.00 a month!! I submitted all the necessary documentation showing it would be a hardship for me to pay off the escrow and keep up with my mortgage. I needed a loan modification. I sent all the documentation in July, 2009 by the end of September, 2009 no one from Indy mac had contacted me except to send me a letter stating I was in risk of being in default but assured me "indymay is here to help, there are options". After calling IndyMac and getting the runaround, I retained an attorney. James Parsa of the Parsa Law Group. I sent Parsa my documents which he allegedly reviewed and assured me I was eligible for a loan modification and he even discussed figures with me of what I could afford monthly. After paying upfront for Parsa's services--$3,300 I never heard a word further. I would call the Parsa Law Group and be assured that they were "diligently working on my loan modification" but I never received any written confirmation. On October 9, 2009 the Parsa Law Group was shut down by the California State Bar. I and thousands of other "clients" of the law firm were left high and dry. Void of our money. I then started back with trying on my own to get a loan modification from Indy Mac. I sent 3x all the requested documents to Indy Mac via certified mail and fax. I followed up with phone calls and fax letters stressing that I wanted to keep my home and I wanted to work with them. Each time I called, I had to go thru the entire store with a new person. Each time I called I was placed on hold for several mins and when the IndyMac person would return to the phone, the only answer they could give me regarding my loan modification was "it's being reviewed" I started getting default notices. I called IndyMac and was told the process was moving forward. I would ask "what about my loan modification request?" The answer was always the same, it's being reviewed. You are not allowed to speak to anyone in the Loss Mitigation dept. I was never offered any remediation period of making reduced payments.
Finally today, November 4, 2009 I called one last time to IndyMac. I was told "your request for a loan modification has been denied. The investors felt it wasn't a good risk". Thanks a whole f'ing lot!! Raped twice, once by an scum attorney and second by Indy Mac. Topping off my day, the bloodsuckers hoping to profit from buying my home are knocking on my door at all hours. I retained yet another attorney and will file chapter 13 to save my home. Obama and all the other government drones from the State of California to DC are WORTHLESS!!! |

We are still "working on our prob with Indymac" we have a supposed negotiator working on it and had to file 13-7 to stop the sheriffs sale, sent letters to my congress people and have read about a bill that is spose to be looked at by congress where a judge can order the bank to remod....hasn't been passed ...Why Doesn't our government care...it's all a scam....Anyone know anyone that has had any luck with Indymac, I wish I had some hope, am tired of the fight we've been fighting for 2 years, just want to know if I should walk away..........rsbroten@yahoo.c om

My INdy MAc One West nightmare started last November on the side of the road on hold for 2 hours telling them that 10.525 was way too high and 4300 per month could not be paid since I was about to lose job. They did reduce rate to 6.5 and then I lost my job the payment was still 3400 per month. I paid Jan 2009 and Feb 2009, I called again looking for help they said don't make your payment for 3 months then we can help, at the end of 90 days I got help right out of my house a foreclosure letter with sale date in July, I cashed out 401 and savings and mailed the bastards 0ver 10,000. The foreclosure was halted for the moment 30 days later after making my August payment 3400 another letter of foreclosure and sale date of October, had to come up with 16,434 this time from family members, and before that was paid I was ripped off again by FAIRLENDINGREVIEW LLC for 2995.00 to get INDY MAC ONE WEST to modify my loan, so in 12 weeks time I sent and spent over 34,000.00 and still have 3400 payment and nothing but lies and deceit from Indy Mac Onew West, and as far as Obama goes he can kick my white fucking ass, he is way worse than Clinton and we have 3 more years.

David: My sentiments exactly!! All we get is screwed. Screwed by politians, screwed by loan mod attorneys , screwed by the money grubbing "investors" at IndyMac/One West bank. I've done lots and lots of research since becoming a victim of all these scumbag, equity robbing creeps. What I've discovered is the investors at IndyMac/OneWest NEVER intended to modify anyone's loan. It is not in there best "investment interests". The new owners of IndyMac are George Soros a raging liberal left wing friend of Obama's and Michael Dell, YES THE Michael Dell of the computer fame and a couple of other billionaire buddies. These people, especially Soros & Dell talk a good game, acting like they care about the little people with all there do gooder works, but in reality, they've gotten even richer off the purchase of IndyMac. The deal they made with the FDIC is one sweet deal. On any foreclosure, they only take a 20% loss and get the 80% balance paid back to them by the Fed government. In turn they take your home and resale it, whatever they get is pure profit. SO here are these to raging left wing anti-establishment liberals acting no better than the right wing conservatives they allegedly hate. Soros and Dell need to be held accountable for their nasty actions and kicking families out of their homes. Rot in hell Dell and Soros!! |
