I was a good friend of Jeremy’s and I am also a former resident of Orofino and ill tell you what the cops in Orofino are all power freaks just because u can carry a gun does not mean u can go around shooting people the sherrif is a joke and so is the whole law enforfcement in Orofino Jeremy probably wasn’t even holding a gun he is not stupid and the cops went in to his home and made up a lame story to get away with murder and guess what coppers it will not happen you all are nothing but jokes power freaks and just because u are the law doesn’t mean u go hurting people. Now people just look at the history of Orofino law enforcement. Eric dodge beats up man for no reason city gets sued

Officer ann shoots woman with taiser for dog at large Orofino city gest sued

Guy cordel gets fired from st. marries for DUI Orofino police hired him.

Now these are only some of the things that is going on with our messed up law enforcement in Orofino is that what we want?????? Ill tell you I don’t??? I do not feel like having my kid shot for crossing in the wrong crosswalk lets take action and get a new sherrif and better law enforcement.

Now a message to CCSO from me I hope you all burn in hell and hope all of you loose your jobs.

Education is big in our country and I think you missed out. The Orofino police officer are better then the Orofino Sheriff's. It's sad that there name is put in the mud. It was a good shooting and the officer were cleared. People say they know someone so well but, people blow up like a mad dog. Think about what your saying and know the facts these officer do a great job.

To all those who belive the Orofino Police murdered Jeremy Leech- you were not in the room, you did not sit outside the house for four hours prior, you did not respond to 26 calls at Leech's house in the 28 days prior to this incident. The internet is a great place to make your uneducated opinion heard. And to Kacey in Nampa- when your life is in danger and you have no one else to call think about what you have said about the Police, and then see if the mail man will respond when someone points a gun at you.

Is this Eric Dodge any relation to Jim Dodge, the so-called "mayor" of Ahsahka?

You seem to think you know so much about people here in the area, why don't you answer that dumb question yourself. you seem to be doing fine ASSUMEING EVERYTHING AS IT IS. If you were to spend as much time on your own self and mind, you would be a better person, instead you choose to show your ignorance.

The only two officers worth any respect in Orofino are the Ward brothers.
The rest are ego triping punks .
Nobody would let them sit at the 'cool' lunch table in school now they have a gun and and a'tude and are going to get even.
They are pretty good at harassing teenagers but for anything beyond that they are an embarassment to profesional Law Enforcement Officers everywhere.
Why Officer Ann is still working after
that Taser incident is an idication of just how little regard the powers that be have for profesional conduct.
Ask any police officer outside of Clearwater county the situations where the use of a taser is a valid response and see what kind of answer you get.

I wouldn't expect any of you to know the real story behind what happened; To all of you for further reference, He was a great landlord and a great man, who was promised help by the OPD and didn't get when was promised to him. Sure I have respect for most of the police officers in this town, but as a force they mostly resemble a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off.

I was a cop in Idaho and I agree that most officers in area of Clearwater County are less than top notch, they have to do what's necessary
to get home after their 12.

most cops in Orofino are IDOC rejected. thats sad considering IDOC hires a lot of duds. Eric dodge i beleive is Jim dodges nephew. I have been very fortunate not to have any run ins with the law.lol, but I agree that they are very badge heavy. As for putting down someones intelligence. hmm reallly nice. typos and not typing well and hmm just not caring maybe you should stop going after someones language abilities and start discussing topics. and oh yeah. she got her point across and SO AM I...

Actually I believe That Eric is Jim's Stepson from an ex-wife, although I haven't paid that much attention to many of his stories. Needless to say Jim isn't the man many people make him out to be.

And you didn't come home from working a 14 hour day to be unable to go to your home because your home is once again blocked off by cops. You didn't sit at sunset mart and wait for hours, only to find out that the reason you can't go home is because four feet away from your bedroom one of your best friends was shot dead in his own home.

Why? Because someone DID NOT do their job.

Jeremy was the one who called the police, multiple times. The people that he supposedly "threatened"? They were supposed to be EVICTED months prior but they would not leave. They threatened him, REPEATEDLY. The OPD promised to help Jeremy get them out of there.

JEREMY CALLED THE POLICE FOR HELP

And who do they respond to?

The people using Jeremy's rental house as a dog kennel, threatening him and his neighbors, and destroying his property.

Now who do you think deserved help?

THE ONES WHO WERE PROMISED IT.

Its hard to help someone pointing a rifle at you.
They should have shot the tweeker tenants and all their dogs too.
Theres to many nests of these type of troglodytes in this valley anymore.Dogs tweekers and guns.

I'm with 'pull your head out'. 99.9% of you have no idea what happened or how law enforcement have to do their jobs, or who was even there. You're out here on the wonderful web, stating that you're from the area and have no idea that there are even two different law enforcement agencies, everything gets tagged with "Orofino Police" or "OPD". Learn your jurisdictions. But it's ok, you can bad mouth cops; they're still going to do their jobs and help you when you call, no matter how poorly you treat them or talk about them.....I just hope they can make it home every night after their 10 or 12 hours of protecting you.

In all actuality , there are a total of 8, if you care to give them notariety. but that is best remained on a need to know basis.

A quote from UFO in the gun poll ...
as for topic of discussion of guns, they are nothing NOTHING but a tool, as I had to learn at Quantanimo (and a few other places).

Guns are only A tool with no consience to make decisions with. People are unfortunately the ones that are supposed to have the ability to have the 'reasoning', It isn't guns that kill, its people with intent that kill. Although, people who act stupid with guns, sometimes enevitably are being killed by people who have to take those stupid acts with guns as a threat for real. When guns come into a picture where veiwed as a threat or harm to others is a danger to the weilder of said guns of any kind, even toy guns...

When crazy people act stupid with guns, those people face the consequences of the final acts when the threat is over.

There used to be gun control taught in the schools. not any more, hasn't been taught for a long time. I still think they should teach what consequences from useing guns can be, as well as the damage that bullets cause when fired. Maybe even a prelude course leading into an advertisement enlisting into the military or law enforcement.

I think that many people lack the seriousness of the consequences when handling, useing or even talking about guns. Just because there are many people, now days, that are immature in thier young age of early 2o's or older, is no excuse to take guns away from responsible gun owners.

this may or may not, have any comments by people here. But, I believe that guns have their place among society, not only for hunting, self protection or when in need, of Congressional Declartion of Wartime- offensive.

another.
guns... a second ammendment right, to protect american rights foreign and domestic, lately, the domestic side of life has gone bonkers,
lack of education,
lack of love,
lack of seriousness,
lack of honor,
lack of common sense,
lack of morals,
lack of brains,
lack of life in the end when its all over, for some.
which leads into a terrible situation and loss of loved ones. I agree with UFO's description.
oiy. oiy, oiy,
Aye, Aye, Aye

and toying around with a gun, at any time, but, especially when the fuzz is at the door, is asking for a death sentence in any language. Tis but a terrible thing. what had to be done, had to be donewhen that door came open, and whomever was confronted with being shot or shoot. obviously there wasn't any communication, so really... how smart was that. if nothing else, people should learn from all these accountable mistakes, or plum idiocracy..o1% of the few of the people out here have ever had a gun pointed at them at one time or another, or even been shot at for some one or another reason.

No one in Clearwater County or Orofino are allowed to evict tenants, no matter what they do. Judge Robinson states on record that landlords have never done it right in his court! Landlords are tortured by Clearwater County! I've been trying for 7 months to use the courts to evict a destructive threatening tenant. The police will not help unless the judge and prosecuting attorney give the ok....and they will not! This tenant has now destroyed and looted my rental property and Judge is totalling aiding and encouraging the bum. I know they would like to have the police get rid of me too because I won't stop seeking help under the laws. Clearwater County is a bad place to live if you think the Constitution applies...it does not. I don't want this man Jeremy Leech, a fellow landlord with no protection under the laws, to have been killed in VAIN. I plan to fight for landlords rights to protection under laws of the State in Clearwater Count. If the Landlord/Tenant laws had been available to Jeremy, he would have been rid of the unlawful tenants and he'd been alive with a better feeling towards the police . Laws only apply to the chosen ones IN Orofino and in Clearwater County Judge Robinsons court. He was the free legal aid to deadbeats for so many years that he has no sympathy for the landlords and working class that he forces them to provide for deadbeats. Help get rid of this bad Judge. He'll be sure to cause more innocent people to die due prejudicial conduct, denying landlords help under laws. DON'T BE A LANDLORD IN CLEARWATER COUNTY OR YOU COULD END UP DEAD. Laws don't apply to Landlords in this county and you will be forced to provide your property to tweekers and deadbeats and become their slave. That's why there are so many tweekers and deadbeats in Orofino. Everything here is handed to them! Citizens are asleep and don't care about the denial of constitutional rights in Orofino and Clearwater County. Officials and Judge here make a mockery of our laws. I won't give up seeking justice under the Landlord/Tenant laws, nbo matter what Judge Robinson continues to do to me. Jeremy Leech, I didn't know yuou but I will fight on with your injustice in my heart. I promise!

There is minor evil around today, whether it is harsh words or actions. Relationships with non spiritual people will tend to be abrasive, as you come to understand that such people can never be trusted, for their agenda is not love. Beware of criticism from colleagues or friends. Avoid being narrow minded and confining your views to the conventional. You may want to argue with everyone and everything, but beware of devouring your own energy in the process.
