For the families, someone should look into the two certified flight instructors that Mr. Wiley was getting instruction from in chelan. They have had over four crashes related to them just this summer and only two of them had been reported to the FAA. A beginning solo pilot should not of been flying at 11:OO AM in the morning in Chelan during the summer months. Thermals pick up at about 10:00am and only experienced pilots should ever attempt flying at that time.
