Chairman Moore,
Where'd you go to school? They evidently didn't teach you about preemption. See, under that old document called the Constitution, federal laws trump you and your redneck county laws EVERY time. If you have a problem with federal law, your only option is to bring it up with the federal government and Congressional representatives. Try it some time! |

AS Bob stated the federal goverment outrules you in this matter. And for that matter the Wolves were there before there was a county or state. You invaded their territory!!

Good for Mr. Moore. But it will not matter what the county does, USFWS personnel think they are above any local laws.

When will they take action against dogs? There are probably dozens of dog bites in Otero county every year that require medical attention, and yearly dogs kill about a dozen people a year in our country. Not one wolf bite or attack though, can you say sensationalism?

Ask Stacy Miller who was 8, how she felt when a mexican wolf attacked her dog right behind her or was it the other way around. Ask her how she feld when her horse was attacked and killed and eaten in the front yard by a mexican wolf pack. Ask her if those incidents were sensationalized. Most of this pack are still out there.
County law in emergency situations supercedes federal supremacy clause. But that asside, aren't any of you disturbed that people are being made guine pigs and their lives livlihoods and safety are being risked for a bunch of feral hybrid acting wolves? Don't swallow the cool aid, get a grip on why these counties are acting instead of waiting then re-acting. These things are happening and will continue. The wolves are their own worst advocates. |
