3-year-old Flora boy run over by lawn mower

All I have to say is that(and this has even been reported)you never ever should let your small children outside with you when you are mowing the lawn. I remember as a child, but not as young as 3, not being allowed to be out when my dad mowed and also him explaining to me how dangerous those blades are etc. Secondly, it hasn't been stated in the article, if the boy was only 3 and the mother was mowing the lawn, then who was watching this child??? There is no way that I would be able to mow my lawn, on a rider no less, if I had a toddler that I couldn't watch. If someone else was supposed to be watching him, where were they??? Just another sad story with a strong lesson attached. I hope he recovers.

As a victum of a tragidly like this I think awareness should be made. I lost my leg under a riding lawn mower @ 2 years old. I think it's crazy that people still let children outside when mowing the grass after stories like this are told
