I would like to know why it is that my 5 yr. old grandson knows that a green light means go and a red one means stop, but the citizens of Campbell County doesn't? The other day a truck comes up to a green light and comes to a complete stop. Later as I'm returning home a car goes speeding thru a red light that was visible from a distance of at least 25 feet. It is actually safer to drive in Cincinatti than here in LaFollette. If this isn't enough to make you want to scream this morning a city cop turns off in front of me and never gives a turn signal. Now I would like to know why we will be fined for not giving a signal but I haven't seen a city officer give one in I don't know how long.Doesn't the law apply to ALL of us not just the citizens? How can you expect the everyday driver to obey the laws when our law enforcement doesn't? I guess though people not knowing what to do at a green or red light bothers me the most though, because I like a lot of others in this town have a child in my vechile 95 percent of the time.Oh yes, I don't want to forget does anyone in this town know what "merge" means? Well, let me inform you it doesn't mean that you run cars off the road in order to squeeze into the lane. If this happens to me again at Foodlion I will call the police when the other person hits me. I will not be ran off the road AGAIN because someone is too stupid to know the meaning of merge. I do have a valid drivers license and insurance.
