After living in Los Angeles for twenty years and always being told you were safe anywhere as long as you didn,t go into east la at night time. WE decided to move back to Huntington our hometown we grew up in, where no one had to lock their doors or worry about being robbed right in front of your own house. We have been back ten years I,ve watched drug dealers and postitutes take over the west end of Huntington. People tell me the East end is just as bad. I hear gun shots ring out two or three times a month late at night
driveby,s are becomeing a normal for Huntington.
Since the murders of Megan Post and the other three teenager,s The city of Huntington has had numerous murders which have not been solved. I believe the HPD try, and Maybe Skip Holbrook is a good thing. His record for us the people of Huntington is yet to be proven. The HPD need special training in special areas, We need our own (CSI) until we get this it does not matter how many police officers are on duty. We also need a mayor who doesen,t pat you on the back while he,s cutting your services to protect the public. Until these things change Hunting is not as safe as East La
