Truck smashes into Poplar Bluff store in attempt to steal ATM

Would-be thieves stole a pickup Monday morning and then crashed it into the Green Forest Grocery on Township Line Road in an apparent attempt to steal the store's automated teller machine.

man with gun Poplar Bluff, MO	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #8 Aug 20, 2008 yeah its true i wish i would have plugged all 3 of them. but lets be thankful it happened the way it did and they caught them. i would rather the taxpayers pay the bill than me be away from my family and end up with the expenses related to having to retain an attorney. but thats the way the world is today, and until we all stand up and make it right all we can do is watch out for each other.. i hope that if the table was ever turned someone would return the favor for me.
