Our entire neighborhood did not get census forms. Coincidence that we are the 6th Congressional District?

I received my census form a few weeks ago, but have not turned it in yet because it asks how many people are living in my home at my address on APRIL 1st, 2010.. THAT IS TODAY!! So in reality, NO ONE should have sent their form in until at least today. We had a roommate situation, and didn't know whether he was going to be counted at his old place, or when he moved in here, whether we should count him here.

There is so much inaccuracy, and many folks out there who turned in the census too early... 60% of Minnesotans!!! What if someone died in your household in the past couple weeks... your census form would be inaccurate if you already turned in it.(I sure hope that didn't happen to you... I am just saying that I read the form very carefully and felt that there was no way I could turn it in before April 1st).

The feds sure have wasted a lot of money on the census. We received a letter telling us that the census would arrive in a week. Then, we got the census, which we completed and mailed back. About a week after that, we received a card informing us that we should have received our census form and to please complete and return it as soon as possible.

What a waste of taxpayer dollars!!

If they know that 60 percent of Minnesotans returned the census forms, then why do we need a census in the first place?

The fact they came up with the 60 percent number means they already have a total population count on file somewhere that they are using. And obviously they have local statistics, too.

Do we really need to spend billions on this project for pinpoint accuracy?

I believe you are misinformed. The census agency wants you to return the form asap, and make a best guess as to what your house population will be on April first.

It's a Constitutional requirement. The Constitution would have to be ammended to end the census. The census is a good thing, and can affect matching funds to your community for bridges etc.

Good points. Does the government think any illegal immigrants are going to fill it out anyway?

I agree. Those 60% that have already returned theirs: they can read, but not follow directions very well

Gotta count the piggies with their noses in the trough so they can order so more buses for Obamatopia. We're all dependents now, not citizens. Let's go after the rich white fat cats and really bleed em. The class war has begun, and Barack Hussein Obama is your comrade in chief. America RIP.

they're only collecting the census so they know where to put the DEATH PANELS for MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY in getting rid of the olds.

Also, mobile abortion command centers, because the libs love nothing better than dead fetuses, which they use as corsages on their gay wedding suits.

It's all coming, thanks to the communist census, which we never had to do before, ever, when America was about freedom.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Aries

Keep a firm grip on your money today to avoid anyone else getting their mitts on it. If you're out in public you should keep your wallet or bag clamped to your side, just in case it goes walkabout. You should also make sure you check any bills and invoices that you're given, in case they contain a mistake. It's a day when errors and deceptions are highly likely.
