Broward County: State agency seeking help to watch over charter...

So, the legislature created this "Florida Schools of Excellence Commission", yet it has no way of effectively overseeing the purpose of this "Commission". This "Commission" also has no way of managing itself and is asking for private/public help? Why will they listen, they never have before. This Commission is filled with "special interest" groups and they have absolutely no accountability to the local taxpayers. Now they want some vigilantes who are supposed to do their job of oversight. Oh what a tangled web we weave.... Is the Florida Schools of Excellence Commission supported by our taxpayer dollars? If so I demand a refund. Let the local school districts have oversight, at least we can vote for those "local" school board members. Are we paying twice for school oversight, Local school boards whose members we elect, and this "virtural school board that admits it can't do it's job. The Florida Schools of Excellence Commission members are handpick by some in the Florida Legislature not by the people. I believe the Florida Schools of Excellence Commission is Unconstitutional.

Go take a look at the school buses which charter school institute uses to transport children. Then tell me what kind of oversight that you have in mind which will straighten out that mess!
