Judged: 1 Not everyone in Waynesville is a drug addict, illiterate, non-educated or inbreed! I have read your posts and you are constantly putting down Waynesville. Almost obsessively. I happen to hold a master's degree; My father has a doctorates. I and my family and lived and traveled and have lived all over the world. Yes, there are some people addicted to drugs; But that is everywhere. I have been to Savannah and I seen alot worse!!!! Check demographics and statistics!!!! So please for once have something more positive to say. Your continuing rants are getting on everybody's nerves!!! |

Judged: 1 1 You are correct in stating that not everyone in Waynesville is a drug addict, inbreed, illiterate or non-educated. You have to admit however that a large segment of the population is however and that the banishment of criminals from Glynn County upon their felony convictions does not benefit or boost Waynesville's status as a community. Waynesville is full of dope, thieves, conspiracy theorists and "non-educated " persons who thrive on others despair. I do wonder why such a well educated a traveled gentleman such as you still puts roots there. By speaking demographically, are you trying to insinuate that Waynesville is better off than Savannah because of the non-existent population of African Americans in Waynesville? Can you blame them? I'm a white redneck and I won't live there. You expect them to live where? On Buckswamp Road? On Post Road (Brantley County Side)? Your comparison of Waynesville to Savannah is a poor one. Savannah has problem areas, what city doesn't? Waynesville however.......well, you know. |

I'm confused????? Hate it?? Love it?? |

Judged: 1 1 I happen to live in Waynesville and I love it!! No, I do not live on Post Road or Browntown. Many And yes, it has gotten a little rough. But like every town it has it's share of bad neighborhoods. I have worked in Savannah and have seen it's share of bad neighborhoods. There are plenty of them. I grew up in a military home and lived overseas, North Chicago, Virginia Beach, Charleston, Italy, San Antonio to name a few. I wouldn't move back to any of them. I have seen some bad neighborhoods and I would say Waynesville overall can not compare to any of them. |

Judged: 1 1 Let's not even mention the fact of crime...... Crime in Savannah (using Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan)(2006): * 29 murders (13.6 per 100,000) * 65 rapes (30.4 per 100,000) * 690 robberies (323.2 per 100,000) * 400 assaults (187.4 per 100,000) * 2,039 burglaries (955.1 per 100,000) * 6,665 thefts (3122.0 per 100,000) * 1,220 auto thefts (571.5 per 100,000) * City-data.com crime index = 423.4 (higher means more crime, US average = 309.6) Waynesville (zip 31566), GA, violent crime, on a scale from 1 (low crime) to 10, is 2. Violent crime is composed of four offenses: murder and nonnegligent manslaughter, forcible rape, robbery, and aggravated assault. The US average is 3. Waynesville (zip 31566), GA, property crime, on a scale from 1 (low) to 10, is 2. Property crime includes the offenses of burglary, larceny-theft, motor vehicle theft, and arson. The object of the theft-type offenses is the taking of money or property, but there is no force or threat of force against the victims. The US average is 3. This is an amazing feat for our community considering it consists of nothing but inbred drug addicts. |

Judged: 1 You tell them!!! I too live in Brantley. I'm a transplant; My father was a Naval officer and we moved back here when I was 17. His family and my mother's family were hard working farmers and retired military. Their families have lived here for generations. So this is where I now call home. I get really tired of these posts, especially from "The Shooter", putting down Brantley. All of my family and myself are very well educated, work hard, and love God. I have lived in all over and abroad. I have seen some rough neighborhoods and Brantley doesn't close to any of them. |
