Kentucky Tax Dollars May Go To Creationist Theme Park

Full story: www.care2.com

If people thought regular government pork (like "bridges to nowhere") was wasteful and rife with corruption, they haven't seen anything yet.

The kickbacks and bribery on this think will surpass anyone's imagination. Corruption comes with the terrorism...I mean territory, of religion. Well, terrorism comes too, but that's beside the point.

Here's hoping it goes up in flames just like "touchdown jeezus".

As a like many other voters in this state,we feel very betrayed by all the promises that were not kept after the last election.

People in this area have high unemployment.Even if a theme park is a lame idea,we need the jobs.

But.

The "jobs" created are few, if other similar parks are any comparison.

More: typical with these religious institutions? They violate the constitution prohibition of employment discrimination with respect to religion-- if you don't sign a pledge to follow the quackery of these places, you don't get hired.

So, no-- few "jobs" will be created by this sham, and those that are, are not real "jobs" anyway...

Like a typical godbot, you're only saying that because it benefits your religious filth.

If the money were being spent on repair and upgrades of public schools, you'd be calling it waste and socialism.

I just said we needed the jobs.

What is it with you anyway? If it was an Atheists theme park with monkey rides,it wouldn't matter to me.

I try to ignore you but this requires a reply. All other theme parks are secular but have chapels or similar references to god. Noahs ark is strickly a xtian bible story and a disclaimer should be made so children know the difference. Atheist theme parks are known as museums.

Like, say... Disneyland?

Careful students of human behavior will note that NO WHERE EVER in the Empire of Disney, is mention made of Jeebus, Teh BuyBull or any of that sh~t.

Yet?

Disney remains one of the MAJOR FRANCHISES IN THE WORLD-- out-selling many of their more religiously inspired competitors.

How ABOUT THAT?

We need the jobs.I don't want to be racist but a lot of local jobs have been taken or out-sorced.We had a 12 year old loose his fall leaf raking job to a Mexican in his 30's.That's going the limit.

Should'a hired Jesus. He does a much better job, and he will bring along all 6 of his brothers, too.
