Man pleads guilty after alleged sex with girl

OMG!!!! I live so close to this church it isnt even funny! I have neices that want to continue going but I forbid it! We will find another church to attend and I hope that the girls will not have to endure hearing about another case like this one. I cannot believe the man actually said that their meeting was GODs will. The nerve of that man! I am in no position to judge but i will speculate that there is probably a front row seat in hell reserved just for him!!!

I find it disturbing that someone claims to be a man of God can take advantage of a child. We trust people to be good to our children, to be a positive role model... especially in the church.
This is a terrible situation for everyone involved.
Now that church is going to be judged for what one member done. That's unfortunate.
Who knows what goodness lies inside that church, but people are going to assume the worst because of one man.

That is so true..its not like the church does background checks on their members. This is a wonderful church..I know, I am a former member and Frank seemed to be a wonderful church going man and is a wonderful singer, but the church shouldnt be judged for his actions. We are not to judge less we be judged. We are suppose to be christ like..he would forgive frank so it is in us to forgive him as well..even though what he done is wrong in so many ways we still have to love him and keep him and his family in our prayers!!!

By no means am I excusing his deplorable behavior, but she's 17 and chose to go with him on numerous occasions according to the article.

the mental maturity of a 17 yr old living with grandparents ,and looking for a father figure should not have to defend herself the courts gave Micheal Vic more time for harming an animal than bell co. did for an injustic to a human. He also worked at the PHS so I am sure he got his jollies off watching your children that went there,if we keep slapping offenders on the wrist for harming our children we are sending them yet another message that it was your fault.This will stay with her for life and effect her choices from now on, and he will probaly get shock probation in 30, 60 days or less.

I too have wondered why the laws seem so lax on such terrible crimes. Seems that drug dealers get more time than people who rape or murder children.
Don't get me wrong, it's all terrible. But I think rapists should get more time than what they do.

I know the girl, I know the family. They are good people. She is like everyone else in this world, she made a bad choice. This man seduced her, lied to her and brainwashed her. yes she is 17... and 17 year old's are still legally considered children.

we must first remember that a man is a man. our females today dress in a manner seeking male attention. christian men are not excluded. perhaps, when he first gazed upon her, he should have dropped his head to the ground as she spoke to the crown of his head.females, your manner of dress plays a huge part in this. Moms, cmon, dress them girls in real clothes. c'mon folks, wake up. put some clothes on these kids. try something new, its called not being everyones eyecandy, but having self respect.

As I said, I know her. She does not (that I have ever seen) dress in tight or revealing clothing. This man is a predator and that's plain and simple. It's not always because of how a female dresses. Yes she should have known better, but HE was the one who brainwashed her. HE should have known better. And it's not because he's a man, it's because he is sick. I am a man, and in no way would I EVER consider preying on a young female! An adult (male or female) should know better! There are no excuses.
