I think that if both women played a parental role in the childs life, then that should be good enough to allow visitation rights. It is only in the good interest of the child to have both parents in his/her life when that is what they are used to. It is just like with visitation for any parent. Unless they find that the other is unfit of course.

So who cares that the child loves both women? Who cares that the child is being torn away from someone who has helped nurture her? Who cares what devastation the inability to visit one of her parents might wreak on the child? Who cares about the welfare of the child?

OK, sorry I am just responding. I just read your response today. I must have been out to dinner. HA HA Truth of the matter is that I am a straight married woman with 3 children.
