While I don't think this is the place for a debate about the merits, or lack therof, of the Ashland Police Department, I will go on record as somewhat supporting the statements of Sheryl B..(oh the things I could tell you, but that's a different forum)
As it stands it is neither here nor there at the moment. A young man is dead, another man wanted for the crime. Seems to me he had the sense to take off in the victim's truck,(basically ruling out any chance for an insanity defense)so until he's apprehended somewhere else, which is where he will be because he didn't walk out of here, there's not a whole lot more that can be done except to follow up and push to find the fugitive.
When he is captured and returned to the county for trial, I feel secure in saying that he will be tried and sentenced appropriately, regardless of the station in life of the victim.

You know, this is murder number four that I'm aware of in the last, oh I dunno, six years or so in Smalltown, U.S.A..
Somehow I don't think it's that small anymore.

Wow, lets give the cops a raise and more guns! If only there were more dimwitted morons running around, they could put stop to people stabbing each other. Oh, and ban kitchen knifes and forks.

Daily Horoscope for November 25

Gemini

The Moon and Mercury combine to create confusion, so don't take anything for granted today. A vindictive co-worker may be at the heart of today's misinformation: you could have stepped on this person's toes unknowingly. The only cure is to check, double check, and triple check before making any decisions. Then, keep looking over your shoulder for the rest of the day.
