Sheriff Deloach gives report

how ridiculous to impose a dress code to certain officers when others have broken it. Unfair stipulations are placed at the wrong feet. However, if the sad story of 1 or 2 sways the decision, then there must not be much of a leader there. This person thinks that maybe the job one does needs to be considered before imposing changes on a few. More citizens in the county will be voicing the unfairness of this I am sure, or I will see to it that the story gets told....

The local SO is a joke! If you drink a beer or smoke a cigarette you are considered unwanted or a non-desirable by our local sheriff! There are four current deaths within the last year that have been ruled accidental when foul play was "apparent" in their cause of death. Poor investigating and administrative decisions are of major injustices in our county. We need Lewis back!

Can anyone tell me why the deputies HAVE to park on the shoulder of the roads and leave their headlights on shining into the eyes of the oncoming motorists? 2-3 I have met them doing that and their car is just sitting still.

Sorry I have to disagree here....If you smoke & drink..that qualifies you as a deputy!! There are a few deputys that need to be investigated themselves..oops I am sorry,they are not a deputy anymore..they are the investigator!!

I am not sure what deputy you are talking about, but the one that I am talking about has a long history of drinking,fighting,smoking pot,chasing women,etc. He is not someone who should be a deputy, He doesn't even obey the laws himself. I have told my daughter that if he ever stops her to not get out of her car because he is a pervert and I don't trust him at all. I know from first hand experience what kind of pervert he can be.

El-don supporter--no way. I am just stating the facts that I know about this deputy. I am sure most people in Baxley know exactly who I am talking about & agree with me.

If you know this first hand, I am sure that if you took it to the Sheriff, he would listen to you and do something about it. He is not able to change what he doesn't know.

or someone better like Anthony Tillman, he does a great job as K-9 officer. Sure lots of people don't like him because of the job, but if they were not breaking the law then they would have no reason to dislike him. Many people in the community think this is a great idea and that he would be a fair and decent sheriff. He has been asked many times about this and he states "he will not run against Sheriff Deloach. The sheriff should feel very fortunate to have this officer with him, especially since he always speaks so highly of the sheriff. After all, look at the ones who campaigned against him and are still employed at the sheriff's office. makes you wonder....
