Listen, lets not be semantical. Everyone on the planet was clearly aware of where Palestine was on the map pre-1947 as well as the people who comprised the land, in addition to their asperations to become a "nation" (see Peel Report) well before 1947/48.

Regardless, your entire post is nonsensical because your justifying the displacement of hundreds of thousands of people from their homes by stating: "oh well, it wasn't a country." Before the USA was established, the natives lived on land that wasn't a "country," but it nonetheless was sitll their HOME. I suppose what was done to them was justified in your eyes.

Palestine was historically occupied not by just the british, but by asians, romans, and muslim empires...YET, the people who lived there during each and every "occupation" were never victims to the same actrocities which fell upon the Palestinians living in 1947 Palestine.

It is a sad day indeed when basic, fundamental human rights are not only violated but defended on the whims of "statehood."
