Well, I think Lawrenceburg would be a good place if police officers wouldn't scream and yell at Senior Citizens who are honest and obey the law, just because they call the police on a druggie. I also think its very sad that you have an "up and coming", local author, Sicily Yoder, and certain welfare locals decide to talk bad about her, when they don't even know their facts, and the facts are at the fingertip of a mouse, on any search engine. I mean, they can sit on this TOPIX and run their mouths about her, but not raise a finger to actually search online to see that she is indeed quite popular.
What I am concluding is that Lawrenceburg has some people who aren't very intelligent. If they used the energy they expended on TOPIX to do something productive with their lives, then they would probably make Lawrenceburg a much better place. However, I seen some posts, coming to Sicily Yoder's defense, as soon as I posted the "Just Curious", poll, and one was from a local teacher, while one was from a mainstream author, so I would say these deadbeats are the minority in Lawrenceburg, that there are alot of excellent people. And I would say Sicily is still happy to be from here, due to these wonderful residents, as I just seen the article, "Celebrity Chef Gets A Surprise Visit..." on The State Journal's front online page, and it said she was a Lawrenceburg native.

Lawrenceburg is not a bad place.It is just the DAM PEOPLE IN IT.They just like to bring good people down..

well i had to move from there, i hated it, everyone gets in your buisness and runs there mouth about things that dont concern them. it is by far the worst place i ever lived, i wouldnt live there again if someone gave me a three room house

Unfortunately, It's getting rough. With the hostility, crimes (thefts), and the drugs. Happens everywhere I'm sure, just didn't think it would be here so soon.(Always thought the bigger towns.) Well, I've had my reality check now.

Yeah i have known dawn for yrs and just saw her the other day... She is still working and moved in with her grandmother to help take care of her...

It used to be a nice place. But now it's run completely by idiots.
Judge Armstrong = Idiot.
Bobby Joe = Idiot.
Entire police department = Idiots. Not to mention crooked liars.
That Court appointed attorney "Crickmer" = IDIOT.
The only decent person in the whole damn system there is Brian Gross.
Oh and BTW look out for anyone involved in the juvenile system. Once they get ahold of your child they will ruin your whole life. over kids just having fun. They ruined my life, and split apart my family.

Lawrenceburg has gotten awful. It's growin too fast. The School system has gone to hell in the past few years. I used to love it here and never thought about movin from here but the way things are goin idk anymore. They keep bringing in all these resturants and stores but dont provide the kids with anything to and I think that if the kids around here had things to do there would be less crime, and less teenage prenacy.

A friend to Sicily Yoder is what she says in her first comment. I like Sicily, too; eventhough she tends to help people that she shouldn't at times ( enabling people who can help themselves.)
