Full story: The Oregonian

I have been out of prison for 6 years now. It has not been an easy journey. The things we learned in prison does us no good out here. And the very thing that is good out here does us no good in there. It is a world flipped upside down. It is on the individual to not re-offend. It is like a gamble. Which fish is good and which one to throw back into the lake.. 26 children who are now adults are alive because they got caught. It should be up to those 26 adults to decide if those fish are good. Not the board.....

I have met many people in prison. The majority have no education. Many as myself come from below poverty. It is just so easy for parents to get welfare. This new governor should make it a requirement for recipients to attent parenting classes. Sure many will not attend. But that will be California's screening process. Mean people make little mean people. Make parenting class a requirement in order to receive AID. In doing so. It will give many parents the tools that is essential in not pushing their seed on their apple.

Daily Horoscope for May 17

Gemini

You're in a really great mood and you want everyone to share in it. This means getting together with friends or loved ones, and probably shoving all your worries and concerns to the back of your mind for the time being. It will also involve spending money, and possibly even spending more than you can comfortably afford. Not that you'll care about such things at the moment!
