Raye Dawn Smith's Lies

Raye Dawn Smith has been caught in two OSBI interviews and her presentencing report, lying about whether or not she knew her daughter was being abused.

I don't expect everyone to agree with me, or the title for this forum. But, I promise to let you express your opinions freely.

Her family and friends enable her to continue lying and even lie on her behalf. I doubt she even knows what is or is not true at this point all that matters to Smith is getting out of prison and she will use anybody and everybody that will allow it.

Smith and her followers don't just lie. they also spend a great deal of time pointing fingers, blaming and denying.

The TRUTH is that the only people with Kelsey Briggs when she was murdered were Smith and Porter and no matter how she was killed Smith was involved and allowed it by either ommission or commission.

She is legally responsible and was justly convicted and sentenced. Was this justice for Kelsey? No, but at least Smith is locked away and will not be squishing out anymore innocent children to victimize.

I honestly believe they should have tied her tubes in prison after she had Blaine....But that would be an invasion of her Human rights...This wench murdered her daughter in my opinion, she doesn't deserve any rights...

From everything I've read, her one major mistake was leaving her daughter with people she believed were abusing Kelsey when she went one her honeymoon. I don't believe that she was responsible for the abuse, but I would never leave my precious child with a woman I believed was hurting her.
Give the lady a break. She wasn't responsible for the abuse, though she may have chose to remain ignorant. I think tha't her biggest fault. She wasn't there when her maniac of a husband sexually abused her child, but how could someone marry a man like that? I've made bad choices, but nothing that comes close to that. I still think she deserves another chance to rebuild her life. She's paid with the loss of her daughter, and has spent enough time in prison. She will pay till the day she dies for her misjudgements.

Raye Dawn married Porter even after getting an order from the DHS to keep him away from Kelsey. The best thing that could happen right now is that she stay in prison until Blaine is old enough to protect himself from her.

I agree wholeheartedly, up to the forced sterilization. Poor Blaine. His father tortured his big sister, and his mother killed her. What a cloud to have to grow up under.

Here's some news for you. Kathie didn't abuse Kelsey. Read the OCCYR. The DHS DID hand down the order for Raye to keep Kelsey from Porter. What did she do? She MARRIED him.
