As a white 66 year old Limbaugh fan who grew up in New England, I can unequivocally say that the Jews had a gigantic effect on the music of the 50's and 60's. Writers, producers and performers, mostly from the northeast, had a huge impact on the music we heard although at the time we didn't know it. And in case any of you are interested in hearing one of those "Jew groups" from that era, Jay Siegel and the Tokens will be one of the groups performing in Boca (I believe at Spanish River High) on January 10. Tickets are still available.
