Having problems with Model Sim License

hey guys i need to install modelsim pe student edition. after downloading the file they emailed me a license (dat file) and instructed me to paste it in the "Modeltech_pe_edu_6.6c ".
my program is getting compiled but not getting simulated! showing the following message! "Please go to http://www.model.com and download an updated copy of the ModelSim PE Student Edition. # Error loading design" i am using windows 7 help me guys! thnks & regards! |

i have installed xilinix12.2 version and have obtained license for that software .i have also installed modelsim software but its not working its giving information like unable to check out license

i got modelsim to work on windows7ultimate.when going through
license wizard.it said that license was ok,but when i started program it gave an error message 10 saying my license had expired |
