What has happened to the company that we all know and loved. I remember when I worked for Xerox many years ago as did my husband who recently retired, I felt as if I worked for a companty that actually cared about it's employees. I remember there was an open door policy, if you had a question or issue with your immediate manager an employee was able to go to the next level and speak with your managers manager. Why is it that there are no checks and balances for employees. A manager at his sole discretion can put a letter of concern in your file, terminate or mandate whether or not an employee can go up the ladder to voice their concerns. There is a great level of mistrust within the company, and the morale is very low and the level of work place stress is very high. There was an incident in the Central Florida Region where a tech rep. committed suicide, in his letter he stated one of the reasons was work place stress. This does not come down from their first level manager, this come from higher up. Managers and Tech Reps. are under a constant threat of termination or pushed into retirement because of the under current of forced termination. Xerox needs to look at what is going on at the regional level and find out why some regions are no longer performing, could it be the poor decisions of their regional managers. What has happened to the Xerox that we all knew and loved?
