I agree that a "rising tide lifts all the ships',but not the same amount or the same rate.Each Sector is composed of sub-sectors,and some of these sub-sectors really outperform the sector index.(Example: the Sector"Biotechnology "has a sub-sector called"Regenerative medicine"which includes stem cell companies.This sub-sector is,presently,receiving a great deal of positive attention from both Wall Street and the major Penny Stock players.Once this romance is over,the players will shift their attention to some other sub-sector(nano materials?).
