heres the breakdown
wrestling - bret
legacy - bret
entertainer - shawn
class - bret
a champion - bret
charismatic - shawn

looking back at both their careers, i think if any of us were wrestlers we'd prolly have hearts career - thus leaving bret at the top of these 2

sometimes when u make one bad move or make one mistake it wipes out all the other memories. when people remember shawn all they really remember is the montreal screwjob, it is still i there head somehow....thus takes away form all the excitign stuff he did. kinda liek benoit, i.e u only remember the big thing and it ruins careers

Bret on the other hand, in th elongrun u can see now that its been 10 years that in the end hard work always pays off. shawn took a shortcut, it was fun then for him but today look at the respect bret has with the people

No champion goes to Bret. Watch his match with Owen in a steel cage you would know what i am talking about. This is not about who is a better champion or who had a better legacy i think it was more about who was better wrestler period so on that note Bret "The Hitman" Hart beat HBK

I know that WWE is KAYFABE it does not matter who is the better wrestler just who can make the company more money also i never said HBK was a bad athlete i am just saying Bret is better wrestler and Bret vs. Owen in a steel cage was a awesome match.

Really? So the screwjib happened, it doesn't wipe away memories, it adds to them. I believe you're wrong. When I think of Michaels, I don't think of the Monrtreal Screwjob, I think of Wrestlemania X. The very first televiesd ladder match. Wrestlemania XII, the greatest Ironman match of all time. The very first episode of Raw. Shawn never took a shortcut. And as for Benoit, I may not have a lot of respect for him as a family man, but dammit I got all the respect in the whole fuckin world for him as a wrestler.

i agree Bret is a better wrestler, but its wwe, you need to be entertaining to and michels takes that, its a close call, they are both legends and can be considered some of the best ever.

a shortcut is how he propsosed the idea of the screwjob to Vince Mcmahon and was part of it. when a wrestler is still around we tend to favour them as that is all we see. take the example of the ultimate warrior, the fans loved him, but becuz he is out of the business and wwe wants to give him a bad name people forgot about him. u would have to live in the time of the warriors peak to understand and actually feel his popularity, they loved him - not as much as hogan but they loved him.

all im sayng is bret doesnt need to have the list of titles, thou he is a 5 time champ etc. what i mean by champion is looking back whom fits the title champion better. shawn reminds me of flair, like austin said about flair "at one time he was great, now its time to hang it up."

and it doesnt matter who beat who, thats all story, we all know if michaels wasnt a cry baby bret would beat him the following year at wrestlemania 13, shawn just didnt wanna loose to bret - that ok thats how it goes. it doesnt matter who won, it matters who made the overall memmories and impact....that makes the pro wrestler. look at the rock, he lost much more than these 2 and i believe was much more popular than both

well hands down we all know bret hart is in canadian hall of fame, the shameful wwe hall of fame&same pro wrestling hall of fame, i belive jack brisco, dusty rhodes, bruno sanmatino and funk family are in, so to say anything about bret hart negative is not cool your wasting your time&effort, bret hart is a legend and made wrestling from 1988-current what it is, bret hart has more skill then 90% of wwe wrestlers , wwe dont hire good wrestlers any more they hire guys with huge bodys and dumb idiots like khali for looks, strenghth and entertainment, what a joke......... yes i watch wwe alot but get angry with it alot, but still cm punk, morrison, kennedy carlito umaga all great wrestlers im not saying anything negative about them but others yes , like king booker , his skills declined since wcw days, and triplhe h is good but does obvious stuff , rey mysterio isnt same as 4 yrs ago, his body changed , just look at pictures on google.com , its SAD!!!!!!!!
MCMAHON sucks

ahhh, thats a good point, the arguement could be made that Michaels lost his class by being a part of the screwjob. Nowadays though he has cleaned up his act. He's a born again christian and, imo has a ton of class

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Scorpio

Let the past stay in the past for now. Even though you may have fond memories of intense experiences, the Virgo Moon sees to it that you have virtually no desire to go there again just yet. This is your opportunity to show others what you can do in a more civilised environment. Don't try to shout down someone who is rude enough to interrupt. As unlikely as it may seem, the softest voice has the biggest chance of being heard today.
