I personally think tattos are very cheap and degrading to the people that wear them. If you must have one, then I think it needs to be in a place that it can not be viewed by the public. I would never hire a person w/ a tattoo. To me, it's kind of like adertising something.

I am glad I don't work for a stuffy uptight person like you. I have 5 tattoos and got my girst one 10 years ago. I still love each and every one of them. They each have a meaning/story behind them and I love to show them. Tattoos are a way of a person expressing their inner self. You can learn so much about a person by viewing their tattoos. For someone like you to criticize a person for this form of self expression is just as bad as staring at a person who looks differently than you. Grow up and get a life!

I don't have a tatoo but you are ignorant. If you own a business, hope you don't advertise 'cause sure sounds like you don't like advertising.

I dont think anyone should have a right to body mod themselves and demand everyone else accept it.

Dont get me wrong though, I dig the tats and piercings etc etc...I also understand that theres a good chance I wont get hired based on the way I look.

At the sametime Im a really good hard worker and if someone wants to judge me based on that, its their call but theyd lose a really loyal good hard worker.

I am a responsible professional who is an expert in my field. I also happen to have visible tattoos that I am not afraid or embarrassed to show. They have no bearing on my intelligence or my ability to do my job.

Its just a short jump from no tatoos to, cut yo hair, wear long sleeves and a particular color and no after shave or cologne. You will also have to be a certain religion or be unacceptable to the general public or Ill fore yo asse.No tight pants, no clevage, no skinny people unless the boss is getting it, skinny makes their belly stand out and he git de woman etc it make him madd. Maybe he think he too good to let a skinny man get a woman employee, maybe he start thinking about getting even, he harass you, get sued and see the err o his ways. SS

The idiot kids today get tats on their face, throat, and hands. What a bunch of nitwits. The old timers never got a tat on their face, neck, hands, or feet. They could always "follow the peacock" as they called it or put on a nice suit and no one would ever know the difference. They had more wisdom than these idiot kids who put crappy tribal shit all over their faces and hands.

They confirm you make poor decisions.

I wouldn't hire you, I don't care how professional you are.

I have no tats or piercings nor long hair. I own a business in Austin and it is my requirement that my 38 employees are all neat and clean cut in their appearance in person and dress. No visible tatoos or piercings and hair can be long on either gender but must be tied back and braided.
Men will wear dress pants and button up shirt and women dress skirts no higher than her knees and a blouse.
If an employee cannot abide by the rules when hired they are fired. In 26 years I have only fired 3 people and have had 9 quit for other reasons than the workplace.

No such thing as a "nice wrist tattoo".

Tattoos show you make poor decisions and immature.

lol oh muffy u are so funny.. u know there was a time when something as simple as piercing your ears was considered unacceptable also! there are all different types of professional people these days with tattoos of all sorts! police officers, doctors, nurses, teachers, lawyers, judges, pastors.. having tattoos in no way shape or form limits your ability to think, function, or do your job. point blank, tattoos are becoming more and more acceptable on the work field everyday! a couple tight ass bitches like u won't make a difference!:)

Agreed that face tats are dumb. But for you to promote being dishonest and hiding tattoos is far worse. You want people to cover up (hide)who they are. That would mean that you cannot be trusted to be honest . Thanks for warning everyone.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aries

It won't be long before you start to feel bored today, unless you can distract yourself - you're switching from one activity to another. Ideally, you should keep yourself amused by doing something that's unusual or challenging, otherwise you'll be tempted to stir up trouble just to see what happens next! Even though you know that's a bad idea, you won't be able to resist, unless you've got something better to do with your time.
