I would not trust anything right now, on the net there are plenty of wholesome dog food producers who do not use the junk that is put in over the counter foods, as well as a ton of dog food recipes that are easy to make.

A local pet store manager here told me that he put his dogs on raw diets the min this all broke out and will continue them long after the all clear is sounded.

Is there anything safe anymore. I threw away some food and bought other food that is now appearing on the list. I feed my dog Ol' Roy biscuits, pigz in a blanket, and barkin bacon strips. Are those safe? They are not on the list yet, but do I take a chance with my baby. She has lived to the age of 14, now it is possible that the treats she loves could kill her.

since Wal-Mart and SAMS are the same compnay...both sell the dog biscuits that come in bags of the same five flavors...are the biscuits sold at SAMS in the 8 pound bags on the recall list...or should they be?

Are there any specific tests, blood work ups, or anything we should have our Vets perform if our animals have consumed any of these products or do we just wait to see if what they have already eaten kills them?

I just had to put my dog down. We couldn't figure out why he became ill because his brand of dog food was not in the recall. He did however eat the Ol' Roy dog biscuits purchased at Wal-Mart. Our Vet is looking into this as a possible cause. I hope everyone else has better luck.

My Lab who is almost 9 grew up on the Ol'Roy peanut butter buiscuits! He loves them! When we found out about the recall, we immediatly threw them away. He seems to be in good health but we will be watching him very closely. We have no proof of purchase and wonder what recourse we have if an illness were to occure from this.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Pisces

Having to bow down to convention or limitations is enough to make you want to scream right now, and you'll do your utmost to rebel in any way you can. Be careful about this because you could easily get on the wrong side of someone who has power or authority over you. It feels as though you're battling with forces that want to keep you under control, and you don't like it one bit.
