Either they keep coming back to flame you and expound on what a horrible person you are for daring to think differently from the Hive Mind. Or They spout their holier then though opinion on why your a horrible person and daring to think for yourself and then they scuttle away FAST because they know they're going to be flamed themselves. I hate self righteous Douches on the net who are too chickenspit to tell you to your face in REAL life how they think. They know they'd get their asses kicked. HAHA try me!

Why don't you quit preaching and start saying something useful... Hi chris, the backround check asks you " Do you have a criminal history besides minor traffic violations?" Who is SH*t for brains now?

In 2008 I was charged with 5th degree Asult a missdemeanor because my ex wanted to beat me up once again in the 3 years and because I couldn't take it any more I told the cops I'd kill him if he don't leave me alone. Now, I can't get the job, guess what? I don't blame walmart I just disslike that they are lying to us and saying oh this and that. I like it when you tell me in my face that you don't like that I have that on my background check and that's what stoped you from hiring me. I was hired and drug test went through fine but they said that my background check did not come back again a LIE! I know it did because in any job background checks come bac within a few days not weeks. DUMB! Now, I blame the GOVERNMENT, why? Here's why...I did something to protect myself, who would if not me, there are some people who did the weed and stole but if its more than 2-3 years and he/she has been clean why not hire them? But NO money roles dude! I blame the goverment because I can't get a job because of something that I did a few years ago and can't get hired even with MCDs let alone Walmart. But hey, thats cool because I'm a bad person for whomever is trying to hire me... But look at this now, I go to a bank to put 500 dollars and they dissapear but than its found out that the banks empoyee took it and she had a CLEAN BACKGROUND CHECK. Now, how the f*ck can you judge me? The clean person stole and thats ok she has a job but I who tried to protect myself from an idiot I'm bad and the person who stole a few years ago is bad and everyone is afraid to hire us, but people who are acually clean its OK, they can steal but they still have a job. Its dumb and racist on whatever grounds and the government gets mad when you get a job under the table and when you dont pay taxes and child support, how the fuck would I be able to do that when I can't even get a job in the lowest company on earth...dumb but its ok..7 years will pass but when they realize how much they loose off of me or many of us that role like that, than I end up in jail...but not this time... Your wrong, backround checks, more so in summer hiring, can take up to two weeks. We get a green (good) or red (bad) from the backround check company. We can not see your report. The hr people just didnt want to tell you that you failed

Tell me, are you fat? That's not accepted in mainstream society either. Do you drink alcohol ever to excess? Another unsavory habit? Are you a smoker? Definitely not acceptable these days. Do you pop painkillers or depression pills that doctors prescribe? If you do, guess what? Many people are coming to the consensus that your a drug addict, regardless of legality. I know what world I live in, where I don't push my personal preferences on others nor belittle them should they not follow the rules I live by. Bottomline: if no one is stepping on your rights and forcing you to partake in something you don't enjoy, then F'n relax and stop being so judgemental. That's for God alone... Do as you please. but if you fail a backround check or fail the piss test, I won't hire you! Good luck on finding work

The one I'm living in says it's against the law to smoke Pot. Don't get pissed at Wal Mart 'cause they don't want pot heads working for them. Stop doing what sociaty says is wrong. You'll do fine. Who are you to judge people for how they find recreation? Pot smoker's do not harm anyone, and they have less incidences of DUI's... "What freakin' world are you living in?" One that allows me to know how to spell "Society" the correct way and not: "Sociaty" which is the illiterate way you spelled it. Maybe you should lighten up and get off your high horse about who is good and ethical. It is against the law to smoke pot because the government and pharmacy companies stand to lose too much money if it is legalized. Hemp can make clothes, fuel, plastic, rope, paper... think of all those corporations who stand to lose money if hemp is legal, and hemp doesn't even get you high, it is only low-grade marijuana, that is closer to a weed than a drug. I suggest you Google some things, get your facts straight, and pull your ever-loving head out of your ass! Oh yeah, when a word is underlined in red that you typed, right-click on the word and the computer will give you the correct suggestions for spelling, genius!

Hitler followed all his laws and was he a "good" person? Drastic example I know but drugs don't make people bad, they take them just as the millions of americans take perscription drugs (many of which are untested for long-term use and much more powerful than even heroin, or just weed). Get off your damn high horses and smoke weed, if only to humble yourself. Fu*king as*holes...

Here is some advice: Don't believe everything you read, especially what you see on the internet.

I am waiting for my background check for walmart disputation center. It really hasn’t been that long but I was kind of worried about what happened three months ago. What happened was I got a ticket for failure to show license and never paid it. About three months ago I got arrested for it and was in jail for a night. You think this will matter or not.

all of you guys are full of crap..!! why would walmart or any other retail company should hire you? they have the right to hire who they want!!! if you made a mistake once and still didn't learned your lesson and did it again and again... it's crap that you blame them for not hiring you, or hire you back!! grow some pants and grow up, get another job.. if you can't get hired any where it should be cause you are an un-desireable candidate to work any where... okay?? so quit blaming the stores and blame your self for your actions...

mermaid wrote: wow I wished I could tell you something definitive but I can't -as I'm vitrually in the same position, except my VERY recent legal problem was something I disicovered when I did a background check on myself -and discovered that there was a 2 year old warrant for my arrest for a failure to appear for a traffic ticket! The 'infraction' was 'ficticious registration sticker.' Although this was such a minor offense that even the ticketing officer said would probably be dismissed as soon as I appeared with the correct sticker, and I did so immediately,[I had to because the car was impounded!] I wound up having to drive back to that county immediately and 'turn myself in'. I now have an "arrest" warrant and a record. I called the HE personell immediately and explained what I'd discovered, and she thanked me but also could not offer any idea of whether or not this would immediately disqualify me for consideration. So while my situation is slightly different I have had the same unfortunate experience of finding that this outstanding -but completely unknown to me -'bench warrant'-may have cost me a very badly needed job -despite my immediate actions to correct it. Live and learn. At 57, I now have an "arrest record" even though I turned myself in and I was "incarcerated" for 8 hours while they "processed" my files. I still have a court date as well. I am still hoping that I can get the charges dismissed but I dont think this will repair my "record" and I KNOW that this will be very detrimental for ANY future job prospects. My advice is to remain completely honest as you have been and explain as you have here the circumstances. Bear in mind however, that even with current recent 'relaxing' of marijuana laws in many states, Wall mart -as with most any large company still has very strict [zero tolerance] drug policies. That might be that the nature of your 'offenses' will weigh against you. I was told that you can re-apply in a year if you fail the drug test, but again I have no experience with any of this past your own. Good Luck! What kind of bkgrnd check did they do?
