wal-mart money orders

I just received 3 moneygram money orders $850 each, I contacted the man and he sent me a reply and told me to do my job and sent him his cut NOW. My bank said they were conterfeit. This is from a man claiming to work for Honeywell, Inc.
has anyone else heard about this, I got scammed once and will NOT get it again.

I will never buy another money from money gram. because my nedical ins was canceled and they sent the money order back and wallmart will not honor it and i was on the phone for 1 and 30 minutes so as it stands their ewill be more harm done to your business than the 30.00 you would have had to give me back I have the money order and the receite but what ever I lose 30.00 and you lose how much.

Wow the scams are still going for this Honey Ford.(fordhon.02@yahoo.com) I have realized that she did not want to call me to confirm additional information. After several attempts, I have then realized that it was scam. Now I am left out with no room mate to fill in a room and instead a money order under my name. All I can say is that I am going to report it. See when someone says they can't communicate with you because they are at a several meetings- after a week of trying to get call from them, then yes it is a scam.

Just yesterday I received a envelope from FedEx I was on my way out so I just put on the table when I got home it was late so I didn't open it until this morning and the only thing in the envelope was two moneygram money orders for $896.90 each now i really need the money since I just lost my job a month ago but I been cought up in a check scam before and by the grace of god the only thing I lost was my checking acct at my bank they just closed the acct. So when I got these money orders and there was nothing else in the envelope I said this not real so I called my local percent and Iam taking them to the police I really need money right now but I needed my freedom more.

I received 2 money orders today for $925 each. Trust me, I can use the money but instead I had my husband look online and based on his search, immediately took them to the post office. The clerk said "they are as fake as a $3 bill". Needless to say, I was disappointed, but happy at the same time that I didn't rush out and cash them.

I have met this man thru Facebook. He asked to be my friend and then began chatting with me. He started out very polite and friendly saying he had ran across my profile and I caught his eye. The next thing I knew he was saying he was in love with me. Then he began sending me pictures of a Col. Jon Christensen who is a commander of a base in Iraq and claimed to be him. Then he told me he was divorced after 25yrs and his wife had ruined him financially in the divorce and that one of his 2 sons had had to have a kidney transplant. Well he then proceeded to tell me how he had borrowed 10k from a fellow soldier to help pay his medical costs from his son's kidney transplant. Then he asked me if I could help him pay this guy back because he wanted to come home to meet me but this fellow soldier upon learning about me called his loan due and caused his passport to be seized by the commanding general so now he can't come back to the states until he pays this guy his money back. I've asked him to go on cam or speaker phone with me so I can verify his identity and he can't seem to get any of this to work and has not yet proved to me that his story is true. He wants me to send the money to this soldier with a nigerian address. I'm curious to know if anyone else has had a scam like this happen to them. I am really charmed by this guy and would like to know for sure if it's a scam or if he's for real. I've read about all the nigerian scams but none of them quite fit this guys story. All the ones I find are email scams involving banks or some money laundrying scam, How can I check this out? Is there somewhere I can send his email address to have it checked out? I have a gut feeling that it is a scam and I would like to expose this guy if he is a scam. I haven't sent any money and don't intend to but would like to have him investigated but don't know where to go to accomplish this. Please if anyone has any advise I would appreciate a response to my post. Thank you for any help you might offer.

Do Wal-Mart money orders have an experation date on them? If so how long after you purchase them do they expire? I sent one to a relative out of state and she waited a year to cash it. It bounced and I dont understand why it would other than it had expired.

TRY GETTING ONE REPLACED IF IT GET DESTROYED! MY WIFE DECIDED TO WASH THE CLOTH I HAD HANGING UP TO WEAR (NEVER DONE SUCH BEFORE) WITH THE $600 MO IN MY SHIRT POCKET! AGGhhh! WHAT A RUN AROUND! THEY RECEIVED ALL THE PROPER FORMS & COPIES OF THE RECEIPT A WEEK AGO & I JUST CALLED THEM. WAS TOLD THAT THEY HAD NOT OPENED MY PRIORITY MAIL ENVELOPE YET & IT WOULD BE A COUPLE MORE MONTHS BEFORE I COULD GET IT REPLACED!

Can you get money orders from Walmart on Saturdays? And if so, how much is the charge?

I signed up to be a mystery shopper and just received 2 money orders for $990. each. Was told to cash them at my bank and then shop at wall-Mart spending no more than $20. for a personal item of my choice then go to the Money Gram outlet and send the remainder to a place in Illinois. After reading these comments I am skeptical about the legality of this. I was also told to write up a survery telling about the service that I received. I was also told to take $200 for my salary. I am not sure about cashing these money orders. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I use Wal Mart Money Orders all the time and never even thought to tear off the bottom. You must have some seriously dumb customers!

they sell the damn things uot of machines outside of some wal marts...what the hell is the problem....

I received two money orders in the amount of $975.19 from Mike Davies this morning. I am suppose to take out $200 for my pay and $20 towards a purchase at Walmart. Then with the remainder of the money go to Western Union deduct $40 out of that for charges and send the remainder to Dami Thomas in the Philippines. This Mike guy sends me an email every day. I'd tell him I was going to take the job or not. He gives no phone number on how I can contact him, just email address. I get another cashiers check from Bill B Glen someone different in the amount of $3640.22 to send a Western Union to Jonathan Desmond in Mexico. This guy says he works for Perfect Choice Ltd Co. There is something each and every one of us who has receive scams like this. 1). Contact the local Police Department to file a report. 2). File a report with the Internet Crime Complaint Center at www.ic3.gov . 3). File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission at www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov .

If we all report this kind of crime the people who are involved will get caught.

I got one yesterday and tHey said take it to western union or checking place and cash it when I did they had me wait when I looked up the police was walling in ppl please be careful these are real criminals and they are lurking on ppl if you get something like this please throw it away
