During the fight by local builder Chuck Halberg and others to remove C&D from the contract it was said that the City Attorney went to college with the wife of the Waste attorney and they were best friends. Funny how this contract favors Waste and not citizens and local business.
Safford said "If we hadn't been pressing [Carter] on the issue about how franchise fees don't look right, he may not have been looking for the error" Safford said.
IF IT WAS NOT FOR KEN MACNAMEE PUSHING FOR ANSWERS nothing would have been done because it is apparent city staff does not have a clue.
The Commission should have taken Macnamee up on his offer to audit the books and split 50/50 what he finds. I assure you there is more.

The administration (both elected and appointed) of this little cesspool called Delray are either crooks or morons. Did you ever see so much mayhem in such a little creepy town? Larry, Moe, and Curly aka as the FBI move your shop down to Delray. Shackle them all, and send them off with their benefactor – Mary the Great McCarty.

Someone besides the outgoing city attorney ought to look into the legality of the requirement that any private property owner who needs a dumpster in DB has to rent it from WM or face code enforcement penalties. How can this be lawful?

Since this article appeared WM has given the City a second check for $22,000. So far, over $40,000 has been "found".
No one at City Hall is looking after the taxpayers. Thanks, Mr. MacNamee.

Safford and Harden are incompetent. When will this brain dead commission realize that simple fact. There is no contract oversight and nobody looking out for the taxpayer. Woodie that's your job. Stop licking Harden's boots and get busy.

Look at Waste Management campaign donations and who sits at their table during community events (Woodie). Something stinks in Delray and it's not just the garbage

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Pisces

The last thing you want to do is to picking over every little thing. Instead, you have one eye permanently on the clock and you're trying to cram as many activities into the day as possible. This will be good fun and you'll enjoy keeping up the momentum, but beware of a possible tendency to become reckless or to try to cut corners in order to save time, because this will be self-defeating in the long run.
