I'm part of a team of recruiters in Upstate NY. I know layoffs are coming and we would like to reach a contact in Albion so we can assist those being affected through job placement within our organization. Any information I can get from this board will be helpful. Thank you.

San Antonio WaMu people can kiss their paychecks goodbye. And be the next in line to have their own homes foreclosed on...with all those fancy subprime loans WaMu made to their own stupid employees. Ha ha.

What makes anyone think San Antonio is going away? Doesn't make sense considering that Chase has made job offers to some WaMulians if they are willing to work in San Antonio.

I would expect JAX to be solid as well, but who knows.

Nice prediction "No of your business". Should have known since you can't spell "none" that you're a moron. Too bad you lost your job. I'll assume you deserved it. San Antonio facility is being retained.

Per the local newspaper in Florence, SC 510 laid off, they will retain only 380 people at the site.
The site once held over 1100 people. I can't help but wonder what the future holds........

Well. well, the mighty do fall. I am jumping for joy that that rat bastard Steve Rotella is now out on his ass just as he deserves to be...he and Kerry should hurry and buy some tickets to some remote island out of the country to live the rest of their lives in shame for what they did to people's lives. Thank God I got out of there in time and I am getting my paycheck from them as well. They should've sold to JPM months and ago and none of this would've happened. Hang Kerry Killinger up by his giblets!
I was a manager & attended the State of the Group mgr' conference. When they first brought Steve Rotella on....I thought it would be a matter of time before Chase aquired WAMU. Steve's fromChase.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Aries

It won't be long before you start to feel bored today, unless you can distract yourself - you're switching from one activity to another. Ideally, you should keep yourself amused by doing something that's unusual or challenging, otherwise you'll be tempted to stir up trouble just to see what happens next! Even though you know that's a bad idea, you won't be able to resist, unless you've got something better to do with your time.
