You will probably have the Fuji dry lab. We've had it for about a year and love it. We still have our old film processor but the new stores aren't getting them. Don't worry, you won't miss it.
But the customers will. Every day I have new customers who are surprised that we can still develop their film. We get the customers who bought film from CVS, and yet were told that CVS couldn't develop it. And those who came to us after WalMart stopped doing it as well.
When we drop services, we drop customers. It's that simple.
I have many professional (and a few inspired beginning) photog custs who have top-of-the-line analog cams... worth from hundreds to thousands, the reason they don't switch to digital. College students, studio photographers, magazine photogs, medical professionals, and more (fringe hobby groups, airline corps, list goes on).
Most of those are same-day-processing types. I know every one by face/name/spouse/children/sibl ings, and they are used to dropping off/picking up their orders on my shift, as in they know they won't have to wait more than a couple of hours.
There's ONE organization leader who is laid back about picking up his pics. He can wait A WHOLE DAY.
**When we go dry, they'll say bye.**
Did I type all of that
to make that stupid rhyme?
There's no way to tell now...
I guess we'll know, in time...
