They haven't announced the pay for these new positions yet but store net says they will be inline with the industry standard. What is the industry standard?? My feeling is that ASM-T will start at 14.50-15.50 hourly employee, no bonus. Less than what MGT'S make now. The ASM will pay 35,000-40,000 salary atleast 44 hrs per week plus a bonus.. This position will pay less than what exa's get payed now.

Wow if that's the case, everyone run now. That's less than a current mgt make a year. I'm running soon if that's true.

It is true why do you think there not announcing the pay. They have the whole outline of this transformation but they don't know the pay?? Yea rite I call the bluff!! They just don't wanna bunch of low moral MGT'S and exa's running there stores..

Not knowing the pay is probably true. When they begin these types of transformation plans, they always have their target pay in mind from the start, but these rates are so low that they have to hold meeting after meeting and review all the legalities and potential outcomes before making it final and announcing anything. Knowing the rate they *want* to make it is pointless, because really, if it were up to them, management would pay minimum wage or barely above it and would be the only full time hourly position in the store. But since they can't quite get away with that yet, they go as low as realistically possible, then push for it until they conclude it's ready or it has to be increased by a quarter or 2. It will be low, very low. Knowing the structure makes it easy to guess the range for each position... all that's really left to question is a matter of cents, caps, and stipulations. Shit's hitting the fan, and quite frankly, there's not much use in debating exactly what it's going to smell like. It's going to suck, and store-level positions are not likely a career (or even long-term) job anymore, for anyone, period.

Draw your lines for what's acceptable to you now, and start looking into other financial options in the time you have left before the company sinks below the boundries you set for yourself.
