Does anyone know what the starting wage is for the Health Guide position? Do they work in the Take Care Clinics or pharmacy?? Thank!

Health Guide works on the floor outside the Pharmacy. Only heard of them being in Well Experience stores/markets but they could exist elsewhere. Not every store in these areas has a Health Guide either.
Job experience required for it is generally someone who has some sort of healthcare background.
There is a post floating around somewhere that lists the payscale range for Health Guide for every Zone.

The days of paying $20/hour to a cashier are gone, get over it Do you care to tell us your title and how much you make, and see if you get any sympathy? I'm going to assume that whoever posted this response to a completely legitimate complaint didn't sacrifice nearly their entire adult life to a job, with loyalty and dedication only to have shit sprayed in their face by some corporate 'philosophy''model''compensati on plan' that does nothing but show, at the very least, a complete lack of respect. Even is the author of the original post was making $30/hr...after 20 years of service to one company...they deserve a shitload more than a gold star pinned to their forehead and a hard pat on the back. Tell me how Wasson can expect freezing a long time employee's justified, and hard earned pay will provide ANY LEVEL of motivation. How this man can, with a business savvy smile and custom fit suit, look down on people who have given 15 more years of service than he has to this company, that their pay is 'unjustifiably high' by 'market standards' and turn around to accept a 36% pay increase on top of a multi million dollar bonus. This company makes me sick. People's ignorance makes me sick. Wasson makes me sick. I will sympathize for this person under any circumstance. The changes that are being forced upon people who are already living life on the poverty line is disgusting. His (Wasson's) absolute disregard for any semblance of decent working conditions are despicable. And, let's not forget, the comically ironic healthcare and benefits every employee is faced with working for a company whose mantra is "Be Well". Wasson...you should be embarrassed at yourself.

Ditto. Funny as hell that he preaches wellness and very few employees can claim it. Wasson is the very definition of corporatism. It's shameful to see this parasite work the system.

No, you are dead wrong. Someone doesn't "deserve" ridiculous pay and respect just because they have been around. WTF? Did that person work for free for 20 years? They got paid for every hour they put in, so they already got what they deserved. The company doesn't owe them anything more than the market value Another Employee Number wrote: <quoted text> Tell me how Wasson can expect freezing a long time employee's justified, and hard earned pay will provide ANY LEVEL of motivation. What does Wasson's job have to do with an MGT's job or a cashier's job? They are completely different. Wasson is the CEO of a Fortune 100 company, you must compare Wasson's pay to other Fortune 100 CEOs and that market rate. The Board of Directors may look at the CEO market pay and decide WAsson is overpaid and cut his pay. Or they may give him a raise. His pay has absolutely nothing to do with the MGT pay Another Employee Number wrote: <quoted text> This company makes me sick. People's ignorance makes me sick. Wasson makes me sick. If you are so sick, feel free to quit and get a job at another company that is willing to overpay for your services. There are a ton of unemployed people who will happily take $10/hour to be a cashier at Walgreens and do a much better job

If that employee is a zombie and don't do crap shit then no. But if the employee work there butt off every year then yes they derserve it. Basically, this is what you are saying, a police officer don't derserve crap after they retire, die in line of fire, blah blah because they got paid. I know different career path but same idea.

No, it does NOT depend on the employee. And exactly that is my position. Here is the cashier's job: - make eye contact with the customer, smile - ask if the customer found everything OK - ask if they'd like a candy (whatever the suggestive sale is) - ring them up accurately, handle the money safely - Put the three things the customer bought in a bag, hand the bag over to the customer - tell the customer something like "have a nice day" I know a ton of cashiers have problem even getting this stuff done. But still, this is not a $20/hr job (clearly not $30/hr). I don't care if the cashier worked with CRW himself, it stil is a cashier job worth $10-11/hour in vast majority of the cases. I am perfectly fine paying another $1 or $2 per hour for someone who is really good and can help bring customers back in the future Every $1/hour extra a cashier is paid adds to $2,000 per year. The store needs to sell $66,000 more stuff to make $2,000 more profit (3% company). How many cashiers actually generate that much sale? I am all for loyalty and respect. I am just not for charity or throwing the company's money away

By your math,a store with 8 employees being paid $200,000 a year would have to do 6.66m in sales just to be paid. Hahaha It's about building customer loyalty so they buy our prescriptions, if you can't figure that out....

his math is right. 2000 dollar in cost is 3% of 66666. We must sell that amount to get net profit out of that. It is not teh ideal calculation because you have to take that extra 2k out of it.
